I slept uneasily as last night's Madras took its toll. I also experienced the ring of fire early doors, and if I had to describe it would be like the footage you see of cows having their throats slit for slaughter and everything just gushes out. Like that, but with a worse smell.

I need a rug re-think.
And a life free of misery and pain. I expect BabyF's bog feels the same way.
[EDIT] I assume he made it to the bog.

Morning all.
I was wide-awake at 6am this morning, ready to take on the world. I then went back to sleep and awoke at 8am feeling very groggy and out of it. Four stars.
The boy stayed over at his nan's for the first time last night, and it was a glorious success. This should make the trip up to Distant Worlds in May a lot easier on the mind.
Filmblog - Passengers. It was alright, a solid 6/10 film. Four stars.

Greetings.
Mrs C off to Edinburgh with pals at lunchtime. Me n the child till tonight.
Horrid out so MarioKart & Overcooked planned. Burgers for dinner. Hopefully not Overcooked.
Got to level 20 in The Division last night. I have far too much stuff though. Not guns really but mods and gun add-ons. Need a big purge but want to make a list of stuff first to make informed decisions. I know, I know - a spreadsheet would be ideal.

Felice Landry is right, I do need a new rug. The 'au naturale' look isn't really working out for me.

Division spreadsheets and GTA online spreadsheets? When did you feel your life beginning to (spiral out of control/become more organised)? If you ever feel like playing elite I think your spreadsheet fetish could be fulfilled.

Speaking of rugs, I much appreciated Marina Hyde giving UKIP's leader a burn (sideburn?) in yesterday's column
I read it to the Preferred Mammal and dreaded the moment when I had to reveal to him how this Carl Benjamin character had been besmirching the good name of Sargon of Akkad. Predictably he got very upset and worried about the possibility that Benjamin had been one of our first year students. I don't think so, but since he first came on the scene I have felt very bad about our efforts to make the ancient Near East more popular. All I can say is that I wish the real Sargon of Akkad would rise again and deal with him.

Never "like" it, Tuffers. That's basic.

Hi. I went to a pub quiz last night. We finished joint first but lost on the tiebreaker, which was to guess how many times the word Lord appears in the king James bible. It subsequently transpired that the victors were all stone cold sober, which in my book is cheating.

The word Lord, Tuffers, not the worst Lord. Put on the reading glasses. The best Lord is Lord Best.
