Nope, Micro Four Thirds only, so 2x crop. Replaces the 9-18mm I had, which gave a similar to 18-36mm field of view. I Applaud this gibberish. I don’t. It’s bloody awful. I dug my old half-decent camera out the other day but if this nonsense continues I’m going to hurl it into The Cracks of Doom*. Absolute nonce-sense. *Cheddar Gorge. It’s lovely this time of year.

I read T-Rex and The Crater of Doom by Walter Alvarez. Sadly it is a proper science book, not The adventures of T-Rex or dino slash fiction. It was pretty good. Obviously the Crater of Doom is the Chixulub crater. The book does refer to LOTR which would only add to its authority except that the writer makes a mistake. The claim is made that there were no dogs or cats in Middle Earth. This is patently untrue. Farmer Maggot owned Grip, Fang and Wolf. Also Aragorn makes a reference to the cats of Queen Beruthiel. It is not implied that cats and dogs are very unusual (well the particular cats may be). I think it is just that they are not mentioned as they are not relevant to the story. Anyway the extra star for book with maps reference in a science book is lost because there are errors in the reference made. Four stars

My books are George Allen & Unwin or Harper Collins. It is possible I have some that are Unwin Hyman.
I'm not internet stalking world famous geologists. Though it is quite tempting.
