What is your football team out of interest? Mine are up so far! Boro. Not really living up to expectations. Ah I see! I haven't kept up with their progress, but used to have abit of a soft spot for them from back in the day with juninho. |

Ocado delivered Christmas this morning, the house is clean, and I’m making Spaghetti Bolognese for Xmas eve eve. The presents are wrapped and under the tree, and the cards for the neighyhave been written out ready to pop through their letterboxes later tonight.
I might start drinking.

Talking of players too good for the club, Harry Kane, what a player. Karembau, Boksic, Ravanelli, Juninho, Emerson, Zenden, Mendieta; Boro have certainly punched above their weight in the past. |

We played FC Basel in the Quarter Finals, losing the first leg 2–0 During the second leg we went another goal behind, before making a memorable comeback. Mark Viduka scored before half-time to level the score, before scoring again in the second half. Hasselbaink scored a third before Maccarone scored the winning goal in the last minute. In the Semi-finals we faced FC Steaua Beucureșt, again losing the first leg, this time 1–0. During the second leg we went two goals further behind before Maccarone scored before half-time. During the second half we completed another unpredictable comeback, with Viduka and Riggott both scoring, followed by the winning goal from Maccarone. Heady days. |
