I'm assuming that because of all the propaganda we've received through the post that we're all voting for the Brexit party today, yeah? They were the only ones who cared about me and send me leaflets for my recycling bin. Today's challenge will be getting the Preferred Mammal to the polling station. His 50th birthday was some time ago, and the knee pain has intensified with every year. He's regretting not having applied for postal vote. I hope I won't have to carry him, that could be a bit much. I read about the broadcasters being in a bind about how much of the cabinet shitshow they are allowed to report so as not to influence voters. Must be tricky. |

Games: Dream Qast VII, making progress in my chosen vocations. Currently taking time out in The Haven from the flying carpet storyline. I was getting worried about the lack of population in the Monster Meadows, as I had already send about a dozen monsters there. Why is there even a "no" dialogue option whenever a monster looks at you expectantly because "the poor thing just wants to be looked after"? I'm not made of stone! Of course I'll look after you, you cute little thing!
So I googled it and apparently I still haven't reached the right point in the story. This game doesn't do instant gratification.

Results from the Amiga tests:
1st A1200 displays the boot screen, but then degenerated into artefacts. Also "pulses" with the disk-tick. Barely any yellowing on the case.
2nd A1200 didn't get to the boot screen, and plain grey screen instead. Hmm. And a very yellow case and keyboard.
3rd A1200 displayed fine, and I was able to play a game on it (Super Foul Eggs, which incidentally is also how I'm feeling at present). Some yellowing.
Also tried an A600 which was pristine - no yellowing on the case or keyboard - and also played Super Foul Eggs.
These were all plugged into the little BenQ monitor via an external scandoubler I had managed to dig out. Further tests to continue.
