Well that's put a premature end to BDT. S'pose I'd best go to work then?

Thank god it's Friday.
Mrs Fark is out tonight so I need to decide whether to order a one person curry (which has to be of sufficient cost for them to deliver it and so will make me feel greedy) or cook something. I will probably just pig out on curry.
I will probably give DayZ another go. It seems the coast is the most popular area and I encountered quite a few other players last night (but not my brother) and they all seemed friendly and no one tried to kill me. We'll see how they feel when they get to know me.
TV: First 15 minutes of new Stranger things. They seemed to have nailed the formula down now, throw in loads of horror lettering at the start and as much 80's nostalgia as they can before dealing with sci-fi stuff.

Morning all!
Gamesblog - though I don't seem to be playing anything at the moment (read as weeks), I did grab the Bioshock Collection for less than £8 on the PS Store. That's something I can relay... sometime.
TVblog - ignore the eminently cynical babyfark - the new series of Stranger Things is back on form. Only watched the first episode so far, but already preferring it over the second series.
Amigablog - more sweet content is slowly making its way through the internet tubes to YouTube's servers.
OTTM - still blotchy.

I also watched the first episode of new Stranger Things. I enjoyed it, but it did feel a bit like an 80's montage.

Crucifixion: due today
TV: Not very bingey Elementary s1 23 episodes 4 days; a little 'dead like me', 5 minutes of AFK - enough to know it's American rubbish TV at its worst. 'dead...' might be ok, but it's talking a long time to get there; TC's Jack Ryan is excellent, but I am not sure if I really want to watch what ... well *spoilers*. Graphic violence and sex, plot driven but like Deadwood, I'm not sure I want these images in my mind...
Games: NP, Diplomacy on line; AoW3 slight back seat as I have embarked on a full Civ IV/Fall from Heaven 1.08g campaign as distraction white waiting... the whole week has been this but I got 4 hrs. sleep last night.
Edit: me for the day - Nursey comes

Chumbles Give 'em hell.
Games
Well. Erm. Yes actually.
Metro Last Light. I pretty close to the end. It has all gone a bit mystic. This is nice, but I just wanted to shoot people in brown corridors in a claustrophobic atmosphere. Is this too much to ask?
I also installed The Witcher and Witcher 2 on a laptop. The Witcher 2 did not work. The solution is to load it as a different user (which does work) them import the saved files to the original user. This solved the problem. I can now look forward to a lengthy period of not playing either game.

"You have got 500,000 to 600,000 deaths a year in England and Wales so if everybody who died had a green burial – I am not saying that is going to happen – but if everybody did we could be planting half a million trees a year,” Aston said.Ashton sounds like he's eager to inflate that number himself. BANG! Another tree! STAB! Another tree! Gives Sevenoaks an horrific meaning.

Amipal Can you explain what you were doing to the cow when you caught foot and mouth disease? Hand, foot and mouth. Curious thing is that I have none of the other symptoms associated with the disease. I'm just... mottled. With the odd itch now and again.

Witcher 2? You poor misguided fool. It doesn’t even have Gwent. I love The Witcher 2. It does not need Gwent. It was cumbersome and the fighting wasn't great but it is a great RPG. I was going to support the elf until I met him. I do like Roche though. He grows on you. Also I destroyed the only hope of peace in a fit of rage. Maybe I would make a different choice next time. It seemed very much the right thing to do at the time. I never finished The Witcher as I lost my save. I am determined to do better this time.
