Could there be more cheery news than the flooding of Sussex? The flooding of Hampshire, Surrey and Kent. Thereby creating the Island of Sussex.

Everywhere east of Lewes can get in the sea as well, now that I think about it.

Could there be more cheery news than the flooding of Sussex? The news that we have sold Sussex to France.

Hello
Today I moved both of my sheds, and laid some paving slabs. I have beer in the fridge. I’m very much looking forward to drinking it.

Richard James sitting cross legged with a laptop while two folks dressed as teddy bears danced about. That's my Aphex Twin live experience. In saying that, it was Glastonbury and I had eaten some funny Falafels or summit.
Looking at video of DJ Harvey at Barbarellas tonight. Looked incredible. Open air discos are where it's at. Daddio.

[EDIT] I did listen to 'Come to Daddy', as a form of penance. It's just 'Firestarter' played on a badly scratched record at 78rpm. I realise now, that I am turning into my father.

This morning I've been playing dolls with the child while Mrs Crank packs for our holiday tomorrow. Its been 1.5hrs non stop and I wish to stop.
"But we're in the middle of the game..." The *middle*
Hello. TV. More Barry S2. The wee tai-kwon do girl was bizarre.

Are you one of the war dolly boys? I understand an hour and a half is barely long enough to set up.
The child will make a fine player in a few years.

I don't think Ken is a war dolly. He looks more like a hairdresser. Sorry, hair stylist.

I've been watching the Tour de France for years and everytime I'm amazed at how tough the cyclists are, accidents that would send any of us crying to our bed for a week or stop a boxing match they just get back on and finish the stage.

Afternoon, all.
I went into the big city last night for my birthday celebration (birthday isn't til next week). Beer, meat balls, beer, pasta, beer, ice cream, beer, loud music, beer, people. Beer! I'm surprisingly okay today, not overly second-hand.

It should be banned - the attitude of the French to 'foreign' winners is chauvinistic* in the extreme. It also inspires stupid stunts like the one below ... *It's no accident, unlike the action depicted above (higher, faster, deader), that chauvinistic's root is the name of a late 19th century Frenchman: named after Nicolas Chauvin, a Napoleonic veteran noted for his extreme patriotism.
