Morning
I've been outside a lot this week. Concrete has been broken, much soil moved from one place to another, and a sack of seed has been scattered. Casualties list.... 1 rake, 1 fork, one wheelbarrow wheel. I am now the proud owner of 'healthy British tan' / sunburn... delete as applicable.... as well as a proto-lawn.
OTTM... Dog has been unwell. 3 days of hourly diarrhoea, and uber flatulence culminated with a trip to the vets. Diagnosis? An infected anal sac, lovely. He invited me to assist in the manual draining process, which involved me trying to subdue the toothy barky end, while he dealt with the smelly end. He suggested a muzzle for the patient might reduce risk for us both. Dog is small, but very wriggly, so me and the vet were pretty much head to head for this task.
Vet dons rubber gloves and lubes up, and gets down to business... dog is seriously not enjoying things, and having her head wedged in my armpit added insult. Suddenly off flies the muzzle! I look at vet.... vet looks at me.... dog is a blur of teeth and rolling eyes... I may have yelled something along the lines of Don't fucking stop now!!!", but memory is a little fuzzy. Job completed with no bites, although I have some interesting scratches.
We left with a weeks course of antibiotics and dietary additives for dog, and a note for me, asking me to bring her back next week for a repeat performance, as he wasn't able to drain everything in one hit.
Whatever the weather, I am likely to turn up in biker jacket, welding mask, and gauntlets.

Get it while it's hot. Morning all, What I have done is binge watched ST TNG up to S5E20 and then switched to Stranger Things and binged season 3, worth every moment. Thursdays meal was quarter oz burger with gem lettuce leaves cherry toms spring onions. fridays was gem lettuce cherry toms and spring onion with 2 small jacket potatoes and 2 corn on the cob. Saturday will be ironing and chillin' I have had enough of today already as my internet keeps dropping. I'm back up, no I'm not, yep I'm back, er no, Gahhhh! |
