Does that directly report lightning? Or is it a report of reported strikes. What I want to know is are some of the flashes double reports of the same strike? Or should we be putting the southwest on the market? |

Not sure how accurate it is, but if you click detectors then you can see the detectors reporting each strike. It's meant to be pretty accurate.
I'd wait until the southwest has recovered some value before selling it.
I suspect they're not double reports, but that it's a number of extremely intense thunder storms. Looked accurate to where I am.

Now I enjoy weather chat as much as the next emotionally repressed English person. There is so much you can leave unsaid when talking about rain*.
But what sort of nerd responds to a storm by reporting it to some sort of suspicious data aggregator?
* plus you can use rain running down your face to fake emotions you've never had/hide emotions you could never admit to.
