Did you not play Halo online? I would have assumed you did.
I've never played pubg. Fortnite is good fun but quite frustrating I found. As you've no offline mode you're* trying to learn the building stuff as you go whilst not dying. Quick to get another round though when you die.
*Ok - I am, as I'm crap.

So, what's everybody's New Year's Eve plans?
Our eldest is in Sydney and has already had her New Year celebrations. Our youngest is out partying with friends. I'm staying home with Mrs D; eating, drinking and watching crap TV until I can't take it anymore and head off to bed.
I may even break out the Lego. Rock and fucking roll.

No, always Halo campaign. Online multiplayer never particularly appealed, but I will give these current ones a go I reckon. The building stuff sounds pretty boring.

Chicken Kiev, sweetcorn and chips for us. A yellow tea.

We had a trial run of tonight's hedonistic excesses, went to bed late and had a lie in. Since Mr Enemy aka Brad Pitt likes John le Carré novels we watched The Spy Who Came in from the Cold, plagued by the usual prosopagnosia problems (after an hour of watching, at Richard Burton "Is this Leamas?"). At least he can recognise Smiley because he wears glasses and Fiedler because he's got a beard. He tells me that he could have been a spy and I'm being supportive by telling him that he would have been rubbish at it. Good news is that he's become open to the idea of watching Stranger Things, so wish me luck.
Games: Now that I've reached the endgame in Zelda I spent the last days tidying up Hyrule Castle, Castle Town and surroundings by cleaning out all treasure chests and Korok seeds. While I had a break from Zelda to play Mario Odyssey I had almost forgotten how easily one gets sidetracked in this game. I also observed on more than one occasion a glitch that made two Skywatchers disappear into a mountain, but I can't say I missed them.
I didn't realise that after beating Ganon one can check the completion rate on the map screen. Apparently it's 78.8%, but I hear that Korok seeds are counting for a lot there. Although the Korok mask makes things much easier I'm not sure that I will bother with completion in that respect - it seems a pretty mad thing to do. More concerning is that I've only earned one out of three medals that Kilton awards for fighting large monsters, so I need to go and find the last remaining ones.
Partying: Got my Prosecco bottles at the ready.

Dog and I are going round to see my ex and eat excellent home-cooked curry. We may watch Black Mirror. I will be getting drunker than my ex thinks is good. I may go to the pub for a warm-up pint first.
Happy New Year everyone!

I've been playing the Champions' Ballad dlc in Zelda. I've finished my first shrine and just entered the second one, moving like a ninja, stealthily bringing death to all enemies who never knew how my arrows found them before it was too late.
Then I died by stepping on a bee hive. I am such a klutz.

I have been drilling holes into wood. Give it up, Socky. You are not going to get that elusive woodwork qualification in 2017.
