Morning!
Hopefully everyone has had a good break (apart from you). My Christmas passed without incident.
I got the PS4 version of Cities:Skylines as one of my presents and have been playing it a lot. It’s a really good port and the game itself is very addictive once you learn all of the mechanics. I need to stop looking at online tutorials for the game and seeing players who are far better than I am.
I’m also playing through another PS4 game called Root Letter, which I’ve owned for ages but have only just decided to try out. It’s a visual novel game with a mystery story, I’ve reached a point where the clues are starting to come together and I’m really looking forward to seeing where things eventually go.

Good morning. My Christmas of comedy mishaps continued when I spilled boiling water on my hand last night when preparing the baby's bottles. I have a blister the size of a gooseberry on my hand. I have still not finished Doom, but got to kill my first Baron of Hell last night. Also, American Gods is titty fuckin' brilliant.

Morning All, and Happy New Year!
Hope you all had a good break!
Santa didn't bring me any new games so I had to pity- buy myself one. I went for Yakuza Zero due to the general 'good' consensus from here. I'm enjoying it so far, aside from the seedy stuff appearing on screen whenever the better half enters the room. Currently just unlocked the Sunshine Club and beat up Lee for the second time. Defeated two Mr Shakedowns, but I'm back to avoiding them after they upped how much they carry, that can't be a good sign.
TV wise I finally got around to finishing the Leftovers, which was excellent. I've also just realised that the new series of Black Mirror is available so need to get on that.

Ive been playing Stick of Truth. Fun game although I havent watched much South Park since around 2002.
Resident Evil 7 seems good too. The switch to 1st person had me worried but its basic RE.

Morning all.
Christmas period went all too fast, but now back to work.
Spent the majority of the time with Dark Souls 2, where I'm currently stuck fighting an annoying ice tiger thing.
I also got through to Winter in Stardew Valley. That game is consuming my soul and every single free minute is spent making bits of progress. I have four cows and four chickens all named after Dragonball Z characters.

morning all,
This Xmas was the definitive 'peep behind the curtain' moment. As it should be it was dominated by my niece and nephews but I noticed many of the adults just holding it together for various reasons.

In other news I moved my website to a new host (thus saving a few pennies). Just need to decide on a suitable WordPress theme, for any one you familiar with whisky/rum blog I'm sure my lack of decision making colliding with hundreds of options won't witness any problems.
Gaming wise, Civ V, reinstalled it and 'meh'. Enjoyed it but continued with Skyrim. All the DLC makes the early stages a tad overwhelming. Upped the difficulty level meaning that the occasional bear or sabre tooth cat is certainly to be avoided. Currently building my first property (Lakeview).
