The number of folk on twitter yesterday using a certain term for Chinese takeaway was ridiculous. I'm not surprised to say a lot of them were Scottish.

The hand is relatively pain free (after a painful sleep deprived night) and the blister is impressively bulbous.
If it is blistering it's probably time to stop touching yourself at night. At least for a couple of nights. Unless you like pus as a lubricant.

Hello valued remainers.
I've been playing Ratchet & Clank on the PS4. Bloody brilliant.
I also finished Rome yesterday. Such a shame that an excellent series like that was cancelled.

Breakfast: French chestnut spread on toast. I haven't had this since my French teacher invited her class to her place, and that's a looooong time ago.
Games: Zelda "Champions' Ballad" DLC. Tremendous fun. I'm at the part where everything (and I mean everything) will kill you in one hit, then they throw a bunch of enemies and death traps at you. Really forces you to up your game.
TV: First episode of Stranger Things. No complaints from the other half so far (he actually surprised me by saying recently that he misses watching X-files. I never knew he'd seen it. I think he mainly liked Scully).
Plans for today: taking the cat to the man/woman with the cold hands for a checkup.
Weather: decidedly meh.
Shenguin's dog going back to owners: even meh-er.
Totally agree on Rome.

My finger's going to be alright, isn't it guys? Take off, nuke the finger from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

That finger looks sore. Been to a healthcare professional? All the stuff online says don't burst blisters. I'd get a sterile needle and pop that. Then lather in savlon. But my medical training is limited to halving pills.

But my medical training is limited to halving pills. Double drop or go home. With regards to the finger my two minutes of googling has led me to believe a sterile gauze may be needed.

Get a thick twig to bite down on, and a pair of pliers. The blister will no longer be a problem once you have that finger off.

From the Evening Standard:
Bell End residents start petition to change street name because they have become 'a laughing stock'
But Minge Lane resident Stephen Young called the reaction 'over the top'

I like to think I would have stopped touching myself before the blister reached that size.

Atia is the bestest.
Rome was pretty great all the way through, benefited from having some very good actors. I suppose they could do a prequel, the period running up to Caesar has some very strong storylines.

Good fucking god. Babyfarks finger is even more grotesque then I imagined his face would be.
I finally got away from relatives yesterday and back to my own abode.
Games: Nier automata- started it off, it's ok so far. I'm not understanding what all the pump was about on here yet. I'm in a resistance camp so early doors.
