Any pump for Monster Hunter World? I've not played any of them previously but might add it to the backlog

Atia is the bestest. Rome was pretty great all the way through, benefited from having some very good actors. I suppose they could do a prequel, the period running up to Caesar has some very strong storylines. There's some great character development in there. Based on reality I expect.

By old box, I mean the grand tour version of top gear after we punched FRANK in his metaphorical face and and had to pitch up the tent in various sea bins across the guardian.

Back from the vet. Local pussycats give the experience a low rating. Expensive, too. The cat should really get a job and finally pull its weight.
Babyfark's blister: That thing is large enough to become sentient and open its own bank account. I concur with Dr Crank's medical advice. You don't want that thing to burst at an inappropriate time, e.g. when you are knee deep in changing nappies. There's just liquid in there and it's going to be more sore again, but at least you can put a sterile bandage on it.

Evening all,
No gaming and not nearly enough dissertation writing. Though I now fancy rewatching Rome as the chat here has reminded me how good it was.
Blistergate - get to the doctor and get it sorted. I had a similar experience after an ill fated stag do and all two weeks of germaline and gauze led to was a trip to A&E, a nasty scar and an awkward conversation in work.

Babyfark your time and motion study of my chores wasn't far off. I apologise.
I shoved on the modern warfare remaster on the ps4 that I got for Xmas. I used to occasionally play it on the pc and I know parts of some maps. I'm not totally up to speed yet. *Ahem*
I'm at the bit called "Charlie don't surf" On the campaign mode. I don't remember getting past this on pc.
Multiplayer I played against the bots then went online. A few kills but mostly stunk the place out.

I finished all my Xmas and new year booze last night, so today is day 1 of clean living. I'm feeling a bit agitated already

Alcohol chat: Sobriety is not the answer.
Cat chat: Tent, I hope your cat is ok. I have recently started feeding a cat after my elderly neighbour died. Nobody else seems interested in looking after it. I don't want it, but, y'know, it's hungry and in mourning.
Food chat: Quorn ham sandwiches for dinner.

Cat chat: Tent, I hope your cat is ok. I have recently started feeding a cat after my elderly neighbour died. Nobody else seems interested in looking after it. I don't want it, but, y'know, it's hungry and in mourning. That is a good thing to do. Don't worry about my cat, the vet has declared her to be in good shape and, at 100 years old in human years, she's an example to all of us. But she's also at a stage in her life where it's become impossible for us to go away for longer because even with the cat-friendliest people looking after her she stops eating and just hides in a corner. When we come back she sticks to us like glue because she's so frightened that she might lose us again. Cats can be extremely loyal, so I'm sorry to hear your neighbour's cat is having a rough time after the death of their human.
