Good morning prudy01, good morning everyone else. The Box had 174 guests in the past 24 hours. I assume this is mostly refugees from 8chan. I fully expect most 8chan users will end up here, where they can make semi-anonymous cheese puns with limited fear of reprisals. In retrospect, I'm a little disappointed the G didn't run a series of articles after the Chatterbox closed, speculating where we might migrate to once they closed Seabin for comments. |

Games. Me. No. The daughter has almost paid off her mortgage in animal crossing and is looking to build a second floor.
TV. Finished Gomorrah. Top stuff.
Fillums. Watched just over half of roquefortman. Really enjoyable. The guy playing EJ is great. The mannerisms are spot on.
Last Fri with the child of the school holidays. Chucking it down. We were going to look at new scooters but it's too wet to go anywhere. The dolls are out. I have coffee but looking for booze to put in it.

Hello. Yesterday I made 750 packed lunches as part of a scheme* to avoid kids going hungry in the school holidays, largely due to the ineptitude and deliberate inaction of the arseholes currently in government. You will all doubtless be utterly unimpressed by this because you are a bunch of bitter, cynical bastards, so I am not going to boast about it. What I AM going to boast about is that approximately 300 of said lunches were cheese sandwiches.
300 cheese sandwiches, imagine that. A vision of glory. Serried ranks as far as the eye can see, glinting in the light of the August sun lancing through the windows of a slightly dilapidated school hall. Magnificent.
No games.
*this is not a prison day release thing, I should stress. I remain at large.

Sweet, we're going for the tasting menu at a place with two Michelin stars. I'm going to go the full hog and see if I can drink £200 of wine all to myself at lunch. Can't be arsed to get a taxi, so we've hired a car and driver for the day, it's just more convenient.
Almost had to cancel, we can only go because we've managed to foist the kids off onto some charity for losers, they get free cheese sarnies and we get a day without them. Sweet.
