Also 8/10. The two I got wrong being the only two I've not read. Which makes sense.

10/10
The only one I’ve not read is The Handmaids Tale.

9/10, I haven't even SEEN the Attwood. But 2 unnatural advantages; I wrote my dissertation on SF and I was a professional librarian for 10 years - also a voracious reading habit.

I don't judge a book by its cover.

Morning!
I missed dunking biscuit chat? Bollocks. My one time to shine. Chocolate hobnobs btw. Perfect for dunking, delicious and dangerously addictive. I've never eaten a full pack in one go. Honest.
Also, 9/10 and I haven't read a single one. Number 4 was the only none obvious choice.

9/10, and bollocks to question 4. It was indeed bollocks I thought you've read said author? If so it seemed straight forward.

7/10 and the realisation that I have read 3 SF books.
I am a fraud.

7 out of 10. Guessed them all by my previous job of putting books on shelves for a living and actually looking at the covers.
TV. No. Games. No. Books. No. Films. No.
Random internet stuff and file recovery. Yes.

Word up, chumps.
Today's plan of visiting Wisley has been knocked on the head due to child illness.
So instead of looking at beautiful flowers at a Royal Horticultural Society gardens, I'm going to be doing a tip run. Joy of joys!

Thankfully the gorgeous Italian women who sat opposite me on the train got off. I can now eat my double chocolate muffin.
No I didn't think she would want a bit. Of anything

Doing a quick browse of the Amazon lightning deals and I noticed Veet for men was in there. This reminded me of the reviews that surfaced a few years ago and a quick look- see left me chuckling like a loon.
I present Anon's review for your viewing pleasure:

I thought you've read said author? If so it seemed straight forward. Straightforward, cracker barrel nonsense masquerading as philosophy wrapped up in a pseudo scientific fuckwit tale of "Me god, I screw anything I want" old man's flower power inspired fantasy. Far, far too long, much too repetitive. A horrible contrast to the excellent hard SF he was writing. I forced myself to read it even though I hated it. Just because someone is a good writer it doesn't make them a good moral philosopher; in places some of this read, to me, like an apologia for sexploitation. My hackles rise every time this thing is mentioned and I cannot abide it. I am far from being the only critic to feel this way: PanshinYou're spared any more. Hospital time - doubtless VMS is exacting his revenge

Pretty sure I'm not dead, as I doubt hell can be as excruciating as reading this nonsense.
I've mainly been busy with work, busy with Open Uni (less than a month to go), and seeing comedians that will never make it at the fringe.
Oh, and I'm still going to Japan. I really should mention that more.

Killed it.
The sacrifice was a necessary part of the blood magic spell that brought me back.

Killed it. The sacrifice was a necessary part of the blood magic spell that brought me back. You cannot kill that which is already dead. Lord knows I've tried.
