Foyles was great when the old lady was still in charge as well. The most convoluted book buying system ever. Also some of the upper floors were amazing. I went to the fifth floor once in a rickety lift. You had to enter the storage area to get to the display books. It's not the same since they entered the 20th century. "Foyled again? Try Dillons!" Waterstones really should introduce some confusion and proper fire hazard instead of coffee places and comfy chairs. It's just not the same. |

I just watched a trailer for the new film adaptation of Little Women. Personally I can never be reminded of that title without thinking of the Poe sisters from Zelda who were named after the characters...

Hello
I am in pain. We went to the pub for dinner. On my way back from the bogs to our table I caught one of my trainers under the metal edge of a step. The step tore through the top of my trainer, hooking it and halting my stride. Thus caught I overbalanced and fell backwards. In doing so I twisted and hurt my lower back on one side.
I managed to walk home but am not okay. I'm now pumped up on paracetemol and ibuprofen and am drinking wine.
On top of that my football team lost. Again.
Life sucks.

Hope he's better soon and you won't have to spend the night at the hospital again Destry why are you wearing trainers instead of proper shoes in the pub? Putting the 'hip' into hip replacement? This sounds like an "have you had an accident that wasn't your fault?" scenario. |

I hurt my shoulder hoisting the child from Mrs Cranks shoulders onto mine at the 'gig'. Have had brufen. Hoping for a opium tincture and a beer to sort it. Last night at the in-laws. Perhaps some botw in a bit. amipal Hope it's all ok and you don't need to stay the night. |
