Right, I have downloaded free monthly games, realised they include Wipeout, and now I'm going to prove to myself that my reaction times and innate skill hasn't declined at all over the past 20 years of alcohol and aging.

Guys, I know how to make egg dishes irl. I'm talking in-game cooking here.
If cooking in real life were like cooking in a game I'd be standing in my kitchen, throwing a few bags of monster munchies together right now.

Navel surgeons are the best. Sheep there, on the button, for once. Indeed; though when bad were no better than butchers, but the very best of them were excellent. My favourite, most loved fictional character appears in, to my mind, one of the masterpiece ouvres in the language, Stephen Maturin.  The film was a valiant attempt to put on the screen the life, the dynamic tension between two people with vastly different backgrounds and even to some extent loyalties whose deep and abiding friendship remains a wonderful creation. You should try them if you haven't already. Start with Master and Commander, Patrick O'Brian (the novel, not the film)... |
