It was going to be a cheese sandwich, but I am working from home and Mrs Fark's Dad popped around and offered to buy us hot pork sandwiches from the shop down the road. Anyone else's FIL offered them a hot pork sandwich? Mine did. He's in prison now.

I initially feared that my first post mentioning the porpoise would result in a barrage of terrible fish puns, but this is actually worse.

My father in law once gave me a hoe for Christmas, and made a totally oblivious speech about the need for a man to have a hoe as he handed it over. My brother in law almost died trying not to laugh.

I initially feared that my first post mentioning the porpoise would result in a barrage of terrible fish puns, but this is actually worse. The thing is, whilst your comments on The Boys series made absolute sense in the moment, I don't believe it has any relevance to the pork conversation as the material itself is akin to the difference between land and sea - thus and therefore, to conclude it in fact serves no porpoise! I thank you..

When I hear the name 'Boris Johnson' for some reason the words rope and nearest lamp-post come to mind as well
Looks like Philip Pullman has learned how to send death threats on twitter then.

Realistically, Ruth Davidson realised there were only so many Orange votes to appeal to and quit as there was no room for further growth. Exactly. Pandering to the orangeists, arguing furiously against every attempt to mitigate austerity, defending the rape clause. That's what it takes to get the G et al to decide you're the smiling face of liberal conservatism.

Philip Pullman deleting his tweet will do nothing for his credentials as future leader of the resistance. When the Mad Max dystopia kicks in I'll be looking to someone much more hard-core, like Gary Lineker or Revd Richard Coles.

Do any of us really care about people we don't know?
Do we care about how Brexit will affect them and whether they're supporting something that will probably hurt them?
Do we care about Parliamentary democracy?
Do we care to do anything about it apart from Haiku's and puns?
I care about the people I care about* and I feel for the people that Brexit will hurt, but that's it really.
*strangely this includes everyone here**
