It's raining Lagrange clouds round here. Technically they are Kordylewski clouds at Lagrange points. Why would it rain Kordylewski clouds. 1) Rain is rained from clouds, clouds are not rained from anything. 2) The clouds are stationary by their nature; you'd have to be rained into them. |

I think the water droplets are drawn up from their sources/ ocean etc then at high atmosphere they group into finer droplets then form into 'foggy' cloud formations, then as they gain more mass they fall as rain in drops of variant sizes. Due to their mass they are light enough at high altitude to be blown by trades winds and storms before gathering up dust particulates on route. By nature they are shifted around by the rotation of the planet and the winds. (mass v mass etc). I'm guessing most of this from what I have heard over the years but I think this in the right direction. |
