Morning all. Went full Amipal** and said 'no side' and that we should send the full Royal Navy fleet in and invade France. With tank back up through the euro tunnel. As much as I'd like to witness a full-scale invasion of France, I cannot condone it unless they declare war first. There are rules. Plus the Channel Tunnel isn't a great staging point for invasion. Incredibly vulnerable. I don't think even a Challenger 2 would survive a flood from the English Channel. TVblog - no! Filmblog - yes! Independence Day: Resurgence. Only watched it so that I can watch the Red Letter Media review. 4* Amigablog - very happy with how things are working on my desktop machine now. I've even been able to continuing writing to the SD card, and so install even more games. Now to document exactly what I did... |

So half of Glasgow was off work yesterday. But they all thought they'd rock up to the ticket guy/machines to buy a weekly ticket 3 mins before their train into town was due. Idiots.

TV: Nearing the end of Mindhunter now, good series, bit slow paced. I enjoyed it more than the first series (since they remembered to put a sort of story in this time). But I'm not sure about it tbh. I suspect it's hollow and voyeuristic, and the stylishness is getting it mistaken for something that's serious and authentic. |
