Morning!
Back in work after nearly two weeks off. Went to get caught up on the 'box. Saw yesterday. Nope.
Anything big happen? Any flounces? There hasn't been one in a while so surely one's due.
Ganes! Mainly Mount and Blade. Booted it up whilst updating WoW*. Got hooked. Got 300 (in-game) days in and got bored so decided to do a little item editing to speed things up. Instant reload crossbow + auto clicker running at 50 clicks a second = win. Still took me about 12 real-life hours to take over the map. Then it bugged and the last kingdom wouldn't die. Karma? Karma.
TV! Started and finished 'The Boys'. 4 stars. Finished Suits. Bit of a rushed last episode but still enjoyable enough. 4 stars. Also finished Brassic. Also 4 stars.

We really knead to go back to Blood Bowl match reports from the good old days. Will anyone rise to the challenge or are we going to be left a bit deflated having to read raid reports?

I'm now all caught up with Mindhunter and it's actually stopped raining now too. Rivers are still well up though.
The new Apex Legends map completely replaces the old one, keeps teams to 3 people and games to a maximum 60. I squeezed two matches in last night and it was obvious that long range engagements are thing now and it takes longer to loot in certain poor loot areas leaving teams vulnerable to more clued up teams that land hot, tool up and start hunting early. I will give it a proper go tomorrow.

Getting low level 400+ drops now.
Did the two weekly hard missions. Neither of us died and opened up the last black tusk stronghold. Running a nice AR/SMG combo. The 50 cal specialist marksman is a beast. Perving after exotics.

Need to give apex another go. People were very cunty about grabbing stuff when I tried it. Yeah that still happens, I open a loot capsule first and people on my team will try and grab everything. I always play with the other team members muted too, the ping system works well enough. |

Apex is really a fun game - the new map levels the playing field as a lot of people had really mastered the old one. You hardly ever get one shotted and if your teammates are not total dickheads you are always in with a chance in a fight. Good time to give it a go.
Banyfark- is the new map bigger or is it my imagination?

Banyfark- is the new map bigger or is it my imagination? I have been told 2 things - it's 1.5 times bigger, or it's actually smaller but has more playing room due to less canyons and stuff. It felt bigger to me, I had trouble outrunning the storm in one game. |
