Not much time for gaming last night, just a bit of Link's Awakening, still just pissing about. This version is giving out heart pieces like sweeties, I think they've overdone it a bit in their desire to change at least something. The feeling of accomplishment that one used to have when completing a heart goes completely out of the window when one's bombarded with them. It also makes the game far too easy even if some of the bosses are a bit harder.
I do appreciate the physicality of the heart pieces in the new Trendy Game. Who knew they were made of such cheap metal?
OTTM: nothing else matters.

tenthenemy yeah it is a lot easier than I was expecting it to be. So far I've only had one boss that's taken more than a couple of attempts, and that was only because I couldn't figure out what attack to use.

How the fuck is it only Wednesday? My son told me this morning that it was Friday. So I'm going with that. kids learning to lie is the best. The other day I watched my son push over another kid in the playground, and when I asked him why he'd done it, he acted genuinely offended and said "I didn't even do anything. It was frankenstein" I've never been so proud. |

I tried to explain to him that frankenstein was actually the name of the doctor, but he pointed out that he's only a doctor in the film and TV adaptations, as it's not part of the source novel. Parenting is a fucking minefield. |
