*sigh* I was looking for gifs of La Jolie, and came across one particular image of her wannabe lookalike which I found stomach-turning... I'm not going to apologize for having a heart and caring about the insane things that young women do in pursuit of a mythical 'ideal'. I did not put that girl's face in this forum.
Because you don't look, doesn't mean your young female relatives don't. I do understand that in many ways this place is a haven for most of us from real life, but if that's going to preclude me from speaking my mind, let me know and I will be out of here.

The other point is the instagram images are not necessarily a true reflection of the way she looks.
People sometimes make gross alterations to the images, to achieve a look that is impossible to reach healthily.
I'd be reluctant to assume that the photo is a genuine 'as is' image, but even so I agree it does not project a self image that suggests good mental or physical health.
As for people looking on the internet you can't stop it. The best you can do is educate and hope they are reasonably sensible. People will insist on making their own mistakes, even when they seem bizarre choices.
