My boss has left to work from home this afternoon as her Romanian rescue dog snapped at the dog walker again. I need to find a tactful way to suggest the dog may need to face the same fate as Old Yeller.

All three of these Star Wars puns have been awful.

A better suggestion would be to rescue a dog in this country, and not drag one all the way across continental Europe in the first place.

Calm down Nigel.
(you do have a point though. I know someone who got one from Spain. It has to wear a jumper in Glasgow most of the year)

The animal will spend days on the road, then more time in quarantine. That'll all do the mental health of the animal a world of good. Meanwhile, you've got dogs' trusts and RSPCAs across the UK, desperate to find homes for probably thousands of animals.

Well, if you remember our resident dog rescuer scubar got a Guardian Pick explaing how he and his partner took in a Romanian rescue because they were turned down by UK animal shelters as making tea for Sheep2 is a full time job. discussion.theguardian.com/comment-permalink/124396662Edit: As you can see there was some critical response to him, including from one person whose experience had been a lot less positive.

That's me booked up for the Pokemon cafe when I go to Japan next month. It's basically nerd Dorsia.

I only drink coffee. Well at work. Occasionally water as well. Outside work I drink a normal range of drinks: beers, lagers, red wines etc

No wonder he was frustrated with his job. His frustrations were nothing compared to mine. A caffeine free sheep is not a happy sheep.

I seem to remember you upgrading your lunch from cheese sandwich to something more extravagant in celebration. For the last two years I had a rebate, but this year my medical coverage which the company pays but I pay tax on went up 50%. HMRC assumed a lower increase when deducting tax and the shortfall came to light when my company submitted my medical costs at the end of the tax year.
