I'm wondering whether this was more Nintendo's call. Doubt Blizzard will cancel Blizzcon. The amount they'd have to refund for purchased tickets, not to mention attendees being pissed after booking flights, hotels etc. I think it'd be more bad press than they could handle right now. Best thing they could do is host it anyway and let the protesters protest. In reality it'll likely be far more policed. Oh, of course they won't cancel BlizzCon. They just can't. Which is why I was remarking on the timing of all of this. I can't see anyone being able to police all the Winnie-the-Pooh costumes, Mei cosplays with gas masks and umbrellas and slogans on t-shirts let alone the audience being vocal. Maybe they need to ask Bethesda whether they can borrow their E3 Rent-a-Crowd. Oh yeah, I cannot imagine that Nintendo was particularly unhappy with the cancellation. Let the Met police it. Any protestors will be dealt with properly, not like the lefty commie liberals in the Chinese police.

I hate to admit it but Shenguin was right. The last of us is getting papped. Shonky controls. I appreciate it's a PS3 game remastered but circle to crouch? Fuck off. Thats R3. Forgot about the 9GB TD2 update so a bit of Arkham Knight.

If you've not seen the Giraffic Park scene you cannot truly appreciate The Last Of Us. A heart rending moment of staggering beauty and giraffes.

I'll come back to it. I'll need to only play it though to manage the controls.

Shonky controls enhance a game. If you'd played GTA and Resident Evil on PSX you'd understand and appreciate virtually any control system as intuitive and welcoming.

I have RECVX on ps2, 3 & 4 for some reason* The ps4 version is ace. I tried the PS3 version for comparison while playing the PS4 version. The default controls are different. And cannot be changed. Now that caused confusion.
*completeness, not obsession.

Shonky controls enhance a game. Probably. I'm lucky in that I play games so infrequently on my PS4 that O to crouch in TLoU makes as much sense as any other button mapping. I'm the shonky one. For example I keep having to look at the physical controller to remind myself which is, say L1 and which is L2 (same for R1 and R2) while NPCs are kicking /shooting/ punching the shit out of me. I'm basically an even more inept version of this guy: I am best at games.

I loved that routine. Why isn't there more video games based comedy?
