Morning all!
Gamesblog - nope.
TVblog - South Park.
Amigablog - my terrain generator now starts with mountains. It then runs through the array to add foothills.
Next step: grassland and shallows.
Really enjoying the coding; gets the brain fizzing. Although I could do with a better editor, as the default one for Blitz is a custom thing that doesn't necessarily fit with system standards.

Today is my Monday, but it's also my Wednesday. I might just split the difference and call it Tuesday.
Started Return of the Obra Dinn last night. It was ok I think. I couldn't really work out what was going on.

Coldblog - the lurgy has retreated somewhat, and now just resembles a 60 a day fag habit hawk-a-loogie type of affair.
Games! - I sold all me data in Elite, and failed to get as much as i'd hoped for, although i'm now about the billion credit mark I had hoped for more, especially with the December update about to introduce fleet carriers into the game, I fear the starting price will be well into the multibillion price range.
Currently i'm docked in Empire space, and have pledged my support for the blue-haired Duval, as I need to rank up in Empire if i'm gonna buy a Clipper. I've sent for my fighter and transport ships so can pick up a range of missions if required. Looking forward to a change from the old HONK and scoop.
Picked up another achievement while cashing in the data.... Kilo-run.... 1000 hours ingame.
So much still to do.....
Probably will take a break for a while, as fancy giving Outer Worlds a look at the weekend. Had a look on the Epic store but doesn't appear you can pre-download the game yet.

I believe the received wisdom is that it takes 10,000 hours to become really good at something difficult. I'd be ashamed to post that I'd only put 1,000 hours into a game. Amateur hour.

The move from Micro-Cobblers to Mini-Cobblers marks a major stage in the lifecycle of the Elite nerd.
Usually celebrated by taking off the trousers, climbing in to the chrysalis, drinking a gallon of rough cider and inviting yourself to the local A&E.

Gaming hours . . . I hit the 130 days mark on WoW at the weekend (3,120 hours), on my main character anyway. I daren't look at my total across all of them. That is over ~14 years though so not quite as bad*.
*I fully realise it is.

Last night I made a curry with a mix of vintage hot curry powders rescued from my parents
The most exquisite vintage expired in 1998 so I am guessing it was a Sharwoods '96.
There was also a 2007 Schwarz.
I keep a mixing tin of somewhat fresher curry powder* and added them to that, stirred them in and shook it up a bit. They will still be mostly at the top though.
The resulting mix of several sorts of hot and extra hot curry powder was pretty much indistinguishable from the pre-vintage mix.
Result: Curry was on the verge f being slightly too hot.
Conclusion: Need to use more curry powder or stir in more extra hot curry powder. Or both.
Secondary conclusion: Old curry powder just goes a bit stale. It is not fatal. It can be used to bulk up fresh powder
* from Wing Yip or Pak. The catering sizes are slightly large, but you can get months of curry powder for well under £5. I am able to use it before the expiry date. I am considering how many 25kg bags of rice I will need in the event of a hard Brexit. I may pile them up as a barricade like edible sand bags.
