Tell you what, this gaming lark is alright.
I turned my PS4 on for the first time since about June last year as I’d bought Tomb Raider in the New Year Sale. I played about three hours up until an early big beast attack.
I really liked it.

I played the one before that on the island with the cult. I enjoyed it. Was the first game I had completed since getting my PS4. Didn't get all the relics and have thought about loading it up again.

Hello all,
Got a bit of a crappy day. Two meetings and giving some staff training.
The time in the meetings should be being used to prepare for the training but not happening. The first meeting is about setting up better fun filters on our WiFi so I need to think carefully about that.
Games! One round of cod and then a couple hours of steep. My very competitive chum was on so he spent his time in steep beating my records. Ah, friends eh?
TV. Almost finished the last episode of s02 the wire. Gomorrah S3 next.
Books. Really need to start the backlog. There are books from xmas16 I haven't opened.
You may wake up now.

Is that the 20yr anniversary one? Rise of the Tomb Raider - think it was Xbox exclusive in 2016, before it came out on the PS4. But I do like the theme, not sure if I really like the crafting and RPG elements of character development. I reckon I’ve missed a couple of treasures in the opening chapters so may restart. |

Morning. I had pizza and chips for dinner last night. No veg, but also no booze, so all in all a pretty balanced meal. Determined to actually finish some of the games I've got before starting on any of the ones I actually want to play, so played Undertale for a couple of hours. Nearly at the end I think; it's good fun, I like it, though I am not sure it's quite as meta as the reviews suggested. Reviewers must have been sleeping with the programmers again, it's the only explanation.

My vegetable curry was lovely. Other than that, I’m not entirely sure what I did. No games, did watch several episodes of Brooklyn 99, which now has s4 on Netflix.

Morning all, Received feedback from my final dissertation draft. No surprises or big changes which is nice. Some more 3DS gaming and a McDonald's with my dad last night. Gonna start Final fantasy 9 on the pc tonight and see if I can actually finish it myself this time. If 80s nightmare inducing classic Threads is to believed the best way to survive is by having a cellar. Though it's broader message is that you'd be better off as a scorch mark stain on the wall than surviving. |

Board Games: A Feast for Odin. A game that has hundreds of components and something like 72 action options you can choose from in a turn. It looks hella confusing, but we had got it down pat by about turn 3. It was actually a really fun game.
I won, because of course I did.

Finished it when it was first released but tried again last year sometime and just couldn't get into it. I did manage to finish 8 again over Christmas though, almost getting all Steam achievements too, just needed to kill 10,000 enemies. Fuck that. Morning! Continued opening the cabaret and beating up the various Mr Shakedowns in Yakuza Zero. I'm finding the cabaret side bit more taxing than the real estate. At least with the Real Estate I could run around completing other tasks whilst waiting for money, with the Cabaret I'm tied to the same mini- game and the same music. My god, the music. Seriously considering putting on mute until I'm done. TV wise, got caught up on McMafia and watched the latest Impractical Jokers. McMafia was ok, Impractical Jokers was probably one of the best episodes so far. Plenty of belly laughs elicited. |

My chickpea curry went surprisingly well too. More importantly, Brooklyn 99 is great. Is season 4 the one that starts with Jake and Captain Holt in witness protection? That was brilliant. |

It was the only one from the ps era that I never finished, combination of murderous last dungeon (mostly the final boss) and knackered memory card, and it was on sale during Christmas. Some of the achievements in steam really take the piss. Completed 7 last summer and there was a ridiculous master all the materia achievement that would have taken a stupid amount of time to complete. |

Morning everyone.
More Stardew Valley last night, well into the Spring of my second year and it's still consuming my soul.
I've managed to complete most of the Community Centre stuff apart from the fishing bundles and the adventurer stuff but got the Greenhouse last night.
Went to bed as I was preparing new crops for it.
