I started my day with a YouTube review of Death Stranding whilst my Amazon driver who's just passed Bromsgrove and who will be delivering his cargo to lighten my task of entertaining a gaggle of small children is apparently already playing the game! Kudos! Must ask him when he got the van upgrade. Went on Metacritic and, like everyone else, clicked on the single negative review. Yeah, don't bother, the website's crashed and they are getting hate on Twitter.
That is from a middling review. stevivor.com/reviews/death-stranding-review-dead-arrival/I can’t stress how boring the core gameplay loop of Death Stranding is, nor how often you’ll be falling over going through its motions. The problem with Death Stranding is that Hideo Kojima has become wholly self-indulgent, making something I’m sure he considers a masterpiece. Death Stranding is anything but, with its head so far up its own ass it’s almost funny. The Stevivor review pulls its punches just a bit too much for me. |

Didn't you meet Desmond Tutu? Very briefly in the late 1980s. Maybe you weren't there. It was more a big meet and greet thing, not a one on one. He came to Brum a few times. Alternatively maybe you didn't rate him as nice. |

There was definitely a big antiartheid/ Free Mandela concert/ event at the NEC. Ladysmith Black Mambozo were there and others and Des. Not the one at Wembley Stadium. The NEC one was around about the same sort of time though 1987 or 1988. I am sure I saw Des at a much smaller event around about the same time.
He was ok. Bit of a do-gooder if you ask me.
