Good moaning, here is the news for the day. I have signed up to A Samsung Galaxy watch as an addition to my Vodafone contract, thinking (I wish I did) that my phone (note 4) was up to date with it's Android software. I received the watch this morning and went through the usual routine of setting it all up to find I was still using Android 4.4.4 (it needs 5.0 or above). So I have spent the better part of an hour and a half searching my phone and the internet on how to upgrade. I found the software update in the phone and I am now updating it. 30 mins in 1.061 Gb in with no guarantee that it will work, so maybe more downloads required. The phone looks nice though, charged and ready as it is. Why can't Samsung just naturally update software on their mobiles instead of making us poor thick saps do all the work! News updates to follow!

I had assumed the dusty amigas would need a fair bit of work. I’m actually quite disappointed. Nerd points at 1-0 to the idiot with the laser. If I could do my own recapping work, it would save me ~£50 per Amiga. Still, I'm keeping someone employeed at least.

Oh, and redub all the Lieutenants to Lefftenants (that's a pet-peeve) - they're British sailors, not American. 4* ftfy The rank originated in the Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS) and was retained by the RAF when the RNAS merged with the Royal Flying Corps during the First World War. A RAF flight lieutenant is the equivalent of a lieutenant in the Royal Navy and a captain in the British Army and Royal Marines. Equivalent ranks: Captain (British Army; Royal ... Apparently, I have Diverticulitis. What a shitshow. In all my career, I did not expect my body to kill itself. You live by the sword etc.. Sorry, bad mood etc.. Diverticulitis is a type of disease that affects your digestive tract. It's a serious medical condition that causes inflamed pouches in the lining of your intestine. These pouches are called diverticula. They develop when weak spots in your intestinal wall give way under pressure, causing sections to bulge out.20 Sep 2018 Treatments: Clear liquid diet

Ach, sorry to hear that, Tiddles.
At least you now have a diagnosis so that you can learn to manage the condition.
Still a shitshow.

if I wanted to find more downright odd people I’d just go round Bedminster Asda. Does Office Pest still work in Beddy? He'd be a wizened ginger bald guy with a distinct pill rattle and a maybe a slight whiff of radiator burns. I know that perhaps doesn't narrow the field much.

Well I hope things work out Tiddles, did they let you know what is likely to have caused this? Poor diet? Genetic lottery? Huffing too much paint thinner?
Also, dibbs on Tiddles' stuff.

Jeez, this place. Today. Four *s Games reviews from other places: Death Stranding - looks good, plays bad. Will pick it up cheap in some sale no doubt. Real games: My mate has made it through to day two of the RW 4th anniversary poker tournament, which is Sunday. Approx £20k first place payout. Day one for me is tonight and I am tired. FML OTTM: Brexit went smoothly then, woke up today noticing no difference to better times. OTTRM: How do you become a politician? Seems they're quite happy quitting their jobs and not suffering financially in the slightest...dream job.

Just to say that I'm busy today. And probably tomorrow. But would like to take the opportunity to advertise once more my Extra Life charity weekend activities: www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.participant&participantID=368271I'll be in the chat on YouTube as lu šulmu (meaning "hello" in Babylonian), instantly recognisable by my Sumerian goddess profile picture. Probably for the whole 25 hours. Not necessarily conscious. The stream starts at 7 pm GMT (the clocks will be going back for the US during the stream. Last year that disabled the chat for an hour, haven't asked yet whether that can be avoided but will probably just have to live with it). Come on by, help us to keep the team awake through the small hours (the UK audience is vital there), maybe even donate some money on this or any other Extra Life stream.
