I'm getting adverts for adopting a lion. I don't think so matey, I heard they can give you a really nasty bite. Now moths, that's a different matter. I could be persuaded to adopt a moth etc..

His retweet of the 'Scottish Conservative Women' account has been my favourite so far. He launched his election campaign on Sat in the local high street. Wish I'd known. My MP had the nerve to tweet about “Labour lies” despite being a big fan of Boris. Cunt. |

TVblog - that Chateau thing again... possibly the least genuine thing on television. Got to hand it to Dick, though - he is a man of many talents. A good advert for the armed forces.
YouTubeblog - all the things. A bit of SNL, some camera bits, even a German chap talking about the performance of the Wehrmacht in Poland in 1939. Eclectic.
OTTM - we had a letter round from Russell-Lloyd (yes, he of mace-grabbing fame), saying how badly local council services were going to get due to them bloomin' Tories.

Telly? Dark Materials. Enjoyed it a lot.
OTTM? They've switched the men's and women's toilets around in my building, to much gnashing of teeth, on the grounds that there are more women than men, and the men's toilets were bigger. In the old men's loos there were signs saying please don't piss on the floor and please don't squat on the toilet. In the formerly women's loos there is pot pourri, nice pictures on the walls and a sign saying 'life is good, enjoy the little things.' It is a very pleasant environment for hiding from colleagues and pissing on the floor.

I've just read my MP's annual report. It has a nice glossy front page with photos of her posing with various token people: A child, a BAME, a disabled, a homeless. It also states that she receives up to 100 emails a day!*
She's certainly got my vote.

I have had an awful start to the week. I was on the bus to town when I realised I had left my train pass at home. I didn't fancy spending an extra £25 on getting to work and so I went home to retrieve it and was ultimately 15 minutes late for work.
Toilet chat: We have posters of cartoon toilet brushes encouraging us to clean up after ourselves in ours. Otherwise it is not too bad. I had assumed the ladies was about equal but after Rolling's post above I am now not so sure and now have images of fresh flowers, ambient music and luxury double quilted toilet paper in said shitter.

I have finally processed and uploaded my shots from the uk.shooters Halloween shoot. BEHOLD!Or don't. It's up to you. I'm not going to force you. As mentioned previously, a very challenging evening - very low-light, and lots of jabs with elbows and knees jostling with other photographs. Most of these are manually focussed too. Still a fantastic evening, and good to get out of the comfort zone and photograph different subjects from the norm. |
