Just had a conversation with an accountant downstairs who remarked I "looked well enough now" and "recovered pretty fast" from my bug. Should I interpret this as an accusation of faking it? Should we interpret your defensiveness as a sign that he's right? You should not.

I have spent all morning installing and configuring Android Studio just so I can play a mobile game on my PC

I think we're going to need a poll to settle whether this so-called illness ever actually took place.

I've had to leave the library as there was a guy sat opposite me for half an hour, belching demonstratively, munching crisps, and slurping loudly from a bottle of milk. I was too terrified to look up in case I made eye contact. I am going to sit in the local 'spoons instead, where I am pretty sure the clientele will be altogether classier at this time on a Thursday.

I just belched so loudly I felt compelled to check the outer office was empty. It was, thankfully. That's all, carry on.

LUNCH!
Hot cheese 'n' onion pasty, and a ham and egg roll. I'd have liked flaming hot monster munch as a side-salad, but was late to the party.
Resisting the urge to check the toasted seeds on the roll too closely in case they turn out to be rat eggs

Lunch - cheese toasties and black coffee Was originally having tea but had to drink the milk I had to scare off the person sitting across from me who was hogging the plug socket needed for my breville toastie machine.

I've had to leave the library Public or academic? Either way that wouldn't be tolerated in the library I work in. You should have moved and grassed him up.

Farage wants another referendum on the basis of democracy is akin to Cadburys demanding two Easters a year on theological grounds.
Tried to go bigly in the US but dumped by Trump (not even invited to the victory party after the election). Tried to make it as a political commentator in US, but denied VISA and FOX weren't interested.

If I'd been planning to stay longer I probably would have grassed but he left before I reached breaking point anyway. You do get quite a lot of eccentrics in public spaces here during the week.
