BabyF's decision to stop eating cheese sandwiches has clearly backfired on him. First the laptop, then some huge apocalyptic Japanese cheese monster wreaks havoc in his locality. Godmozzarella. I watched some TV about a zoo before bed last night, and had a vivid dream about being an inmate in a prison where all the wardens were elephants. It was so vivid that I mentioned it to preferred mammal at 5.30am when I got up.
Apparently this woke her, and she called me a rude word.

SLW2008 has some amazing comments on that powerline article. Created an account just to comment on it, too. Never to return. It looks like 3 of them did this with a 4th who oddly came back to comment on a gorilla piss article 8 years later. I expect the Guardian article went up and they all rallied up the county's HAM radio enthusiasts (all 4 of them) over their radios and they flocked to the site to the complain. I like the way Keef stayed out completely. |

Dog experiment day two, so withholding water from 9pm last night resulted in 2am dehydrated dog so I had to get up and give him a bowl of water. However he then didn't get me up in the morning to pee and as I managed to get back to sleep pretty quickly actually got some sleep. Friday is my night off dog so I can at least sleep through tonight.

I don't have much to report except that last night I watched the first episode of His Dark Materials and must agree with Shenguin on the shocking lack of daemons. So far I'm happy with the cast, including James McAvoy as Asriel. It's a step up from Mr Tumnus, I guess, although Daniel Craig's shoes are difficult to fill.
Typecasting for Ruth Wilson, still good. I'm a Lucian Msamati fangirl, so very happy to see him as Lord Faa. I don't know the actor who plays Lord Boreal, but isn't he a bit too young for the role?
That's all I've got besides the Pokemans.

I've got one as a quote from pcspecialist and kinda know the rough spec I'm after- 1660TI, M2 ssd plus space to fit another m2 or SSD. Not too bothered if a Ryzen or i5/7. Decent screen so I can edit video/photos. Don't want one that screams gamer wanker either if possible. Obviously I am one - but I don't want to advertise it even more than necessary. Also don't want to spend *too* much with PS5 on the horizon. |

Hmm. I think the screen on that one was meant to be crap apart from gaming (from a YouTube review - though someone 'respected') and when I revisited pc specialist they were a) knocking £70 off for buying an i7 for some reason
b) I don't need to buy a windows 10 licence as I have a couple spare.
