A) I can't drink or game as Mrs C can't drink as she's got to pick her up. Do you have a shared circulatory system?

If anything the onus is on Crank to drink for two there.

I assumed it was a typo, and that Crank meant he will be drinking heavily and gaming excessively.

The child is off to a pantomime with Brownies tonight. Oh no she isn't, oh yes she is! Sounds touch and go for the bathroom trip! Pantomime bloomers work wonders in these situations!

*whispers* I can't drive...
So if I'm sitting boozing whilst she can't due to driving duty it will bring up again a discussion about me not driving.
So yes I could drink, but it's in my interest not to.

What is the point in not being a properly functioning adult if you opt against 24 hour drinking?

If you never drive, drink.

This is why me and my preferred mammal get taxis*. *an aside, if you add the capital and running costs of a car taxis are cheaper and allow you to drink**. **people with kids need not apply.

It does depend a lot on where you live. Decent public transport makes a massive difference to how easy it is not to have a car.

I was always told never to drink and drive.
I'm happy with my choice.

I bet Shenguin is still wearing the same beige Y-fronts he put on last month. I also bet he's in the pub now, boasting to everyone he's sporting the latest carbon-fibre Armanis with titanium supports. Shenguin. No offence, I've had a drink.
