Morning
I thought today was Black Friday, and was expecting to be able to get a good nowtv deal before it runs out tomorrow. Black Friday is next week, and the only thing nowtv are offering me is a sky sports deal. Which I don’t want.
Gonna have to cancel and see if they offer me anything to stay.
Games - Witcher 3 - got all the armour sets to Superior level, which is where I got to last time I played, gonna level up a bit more and go for the master stuff.
Tv - Watchmen - things are starting to make more sense, really enjoying it. Alan Moore probably hates it, but then he hates pretty much everything.

Morning, today is my Friday.
Thrilling Internet update
My desktop computer used to run the internet of a USB WiFi stick that was attached to a front port. Unfortunately Babyfark jnr, in a moment of Babyfark-esque rage of the type I have managed to finally control after many years, yanked out the stick with force it damaged both UBS ports on the front of the computer and they can no longer used. There is not much space at the back of the unit for a WiFi to be added there and in any case the last WiFi card I had did not fit into my new motherboard. I decided therefore to buy another of those WiFi plugs which use the electrical wiring to transmit internet around the hard and this was then hard wired to my PC. However my internet download speed is now a pitiful 0.2 MBS which means was described as "very poor". I cannot download updates for games at that speed without leaving the computer on for days. I will try and reset all the WiFi plugs around the house to see if that speeds things up otherwise I will have to try and find a new front panel for my PC case so more ports can fit, but they will probably result in some form of "cable management" which I abhor.

Managed a few games of Fortnite with my brother, there is lots of distracting leveling up shenanigans on screen now. We managed a second place. I caught a fish.

Baby can you get VDSL?
I had adsl. It was shit. Better than yours but shit. Upgrading to VDSL made all the difference. Or look at 4G. Smarty have a 100GB deal for 17 a month. Even if you use just for updates.

Hello, whoever you are.
Last night I went to a friends for dinner. He is a Italian, useless and also used to be a chef.
As a result of this we ended up having delicious Italian food at 11pm with several bottles of wine. Having already spent two hours in the pub waiting for him to do things like buy the food and borrow plates to serve it on off other people.
I somehow got home at 1.30am. Send help.

Cross country trek home last night was rewarding. Rewarding in the fact that I got home at such a random hour that the only option for tea was a Chinese takeaway.
I did however remember to boot up pc and download the rest of RDR2 - now I just have to see if it will play on my aging rig, or if I need a bit of black-Friday gfx card expenditure. I have a 4GB gtx-970 and fear it may be a bit underpowered.

You could get rid of the child and use the savings to buy a new PC. |

The plugs are linked together and should work fine, the other used for the tv seems to be OK but I plan to test it and I will probably reset the whole system too. A weekend of tinkering awaits me. |

Games! No. CWB and special offer bourbon! Yes! I mostly had the house to myself so broke out the very competitively priced fuzz pedal I bought the other day and attempted to learn Purple Haze. I would apologise to my neighbours, but they’re having a kid in the new year, which is almost certain to be louder, so I’m simply getting my retaliation in first. It’s still more sociable than the saxophone, which is the other option.

BabyfarkmcGeezakIs the HomePlug plugged into an extension lead? This can affect line speed. They work best if plugged directly into a wall socket. When you say the plugs are 'linked together' do you mean via the mains circuit or some other means?

I think the modem is therefore OK, the problem is likely to wiring around the house or the plug ins. I will test it all over the weekend as currently I am unable to download any updates for my games, and they all need an update of some sort every week or so. |

I slithered panther like to the train station this morning in plenty of time, only to find the train delayed and eventually lacking in carriages so that I'm crammed in with the plebs instead of in a spacious half empty carriage. Still, I'm supping panther like on some rod hull, and tomorrow is my Monday. Its all coming up Dakyl.
Pokemones - I got to the wild area, it seems kind of small tho. Are there different biomes within it? Seems heavily woodland focussed.
Nintendo eShop - big sale today. Luckily it looks like nothing I actually want is on sail.
