I think we covered this already. The general conclusion was that the 'box didn't display a very enlightened attitude to mental health issues, and he probably didn't wish to either hold fire in his opinions or feel that fully expressing them would be helpful. I for one think it's a stain on our collective character that could only be erased by his return, but then we'd have to read about medical issues again, so I'm on the fence.* *For the avoidance of doubt, this is a joke. I'd have thought bus driving is the same now, give or take, as it was in the 60/70/80's.
