Wow, the BBC has really got it in for Corbyn on Antisemitism. Meanwhile Boris gets an easy ride on Islamophobia.
Go figure.

I'm sorry but this takes the piss. The Murdock, yes with a kkk, is slamming Corbyn waspi pledge, as it benefits his cabinet by 31000!!! what a cunt he is they say!!!
Well that's 31000 (made up number) divided by expected life expectancy, I dunno 90 for a female from age 60??, taken away from a date they may have planned towards
Yeah yeah a few posh rich people will benefit, but that's what? 0.5%?
CUNTS
FUCKING CUNTS.
I wish I was Cobblers, with a gammy eye living in a shepherds hut with no telly.

To be fair, Corbyn has never described the Muslim women as letter-boxes, or talked about piccaninnies with their watermelon smiles. How the fuck does he think he'll look anything other than a Jew-hating Nazi if he isn't Islamaphobic and racist?
The BBC and the fucking Guardian should be fucking ashamed of themselves. I'm not saying Labour doesn't have antisemitic supporters, but it sure as fuck doesn't have an openly racist agenda, unlike large parts of the Tory party. Sure, report on problems in the Labour party; it's news. But it's only a tenth of the story compared to fucking Tory racism.

TV: caught up on HDM. As I've not read the books for a fair while now am struggling to discern what's been changed and what remains faithful. No doubt tenthen can summarise for me as she's keeping tabs. Don't rely on me, my last read through is more than 15 years ago. As I mentioned, shortly thereafter someone walked off with my copy of Northern Lights. I think on the whole the adaptation is good, it remains to be seen whether the ending of the first book is getting neutered like in the Hollywood version, but I don't think so. They are already setting up the explanation of later events (in the Oxford of our world) that are held back until much later in the books, but otherwise it would become too confusing.

Sure, report on problems in the Labour party; it's news. But it's only a tenth of the story compared to fucking Tory racism. Labour has had a smallish anti-Semitism problem for some years. They should have expelled Livingstone, when he was Mayor of London for his disgraceful comments to the Standard reporter. It's also been clear for a long time that elements of the pro-Palestinian left have sometimes veered from anti-Zionism towards anti-Semitism. I don't think it has been handled very well, but it has also been twisted and weaponised and made into a major issue by the press The coverage is much more aggressive than say that of the Windrush scandal. Even though the Home Office under May deliberately acted in a racist way to damage the lives of and deport people who the government knew had a right to live here. It's the same with the making it difficult for EU nationals to register. It is a deliberately discriminatory policy against people with full rights to live here. This is the official face of racism in the UK and it is barely a story. We have a client who is an IT contractor for the Met. He was initially refused permanent residence because the Home Office couldn't work out the difference between the income his company receives and his personal salary, or cope with differing year ends. I think it cost him over £20,000 to get it sorted. Most of which was because he had the right to work withdrawn for 3 months. I am aware this is far from unique among non-EU born residents. It is not that I want to downplay or excuse anti-Semitism. But I don't want it made the major 'racist' issue when there are far more discriminatory official policies being implemented.

Its very obvious that the timing of the Times publishing the article yesterday is political. The Guardian stance on it I find baffling. The news on BBC (i was lustening to Radio Scotland) made it clear immediately that other leading Jewish voices, e.g. Alf Dubs, begged to differ. The G just kept laying it on with a trowel. A couplr of weeks ago they also published and front-paged that vacuous letter from 25 celebrities announcing that Corbyn was an anti Semite. At least when he finally goes full Wolfenstein we won't be able to complain that Joanna Lumley, Dan Snow and Tony Parsons didn't warn us.
