Morning,
Games. Couple of shocking rounds of modern warfare reboot.
TV. Couple of episodes of Spiral. Caught up now.
In bed by 11 and woken at 6.30. Dreadful.
This morning I'm off to watch the child's swimming lesson as I said I would last week. Coffee machine is on.

Bit quiet in here. Shame if someone were to POST A COMMENT ALL OVER IT!
Ahem. Morning all. Off to the bustling metropolis that is Worthing today. This is living.
Watched another Black Mirror last night, Arkangel. Such a happy ending.

I am agonising over my fantasy football team. Until 2 weeks ago I was flying but I've had a couple of shockers and changed my whole team, badly overthinking it. Not that I care that much, since the proper football is on winter break at the moment. Telly: I have never watched Black Mirror. I like Charlie Brooker, but I don't really want to watch an OTT dramatisation of a Brooker rant about how social media is awful. Whenever I've read about it, it sounds hectoring and obvious. Are my prejudices wrong?

Morning,
About yesterday's (brief) hijacking of this website... yes, I had already made the connection to "the nice technical internet support people" calling to fix it...
...because after a week of incessant phone calls I came home on Thursday to find Mr TentRooster on the phone, talking to 'Sean' (speaking, as usual, with a strong Indian accent and claiming to phone on behalf of BTopenworld).
So he told him that if they wouldn't stop phoning he would ask his friend the Hindu priest to make sure that 'Sean' would be reborn as a cockroach in a toilet in Bangladesh.
They did not phone again.

Afternoon.
My wife has finished dragging me round the lingerie section of M&S. It felt like the Christmas episode of Father Ted. I have rewarded myself with a couple of pints in the pub.

I bought Fallout 4. Again. That game would be good if it wasn't for the giant insects. In other news - it's Therese Sweeney's birthday. Therese Sweeney is a women in California who bought a Honda from a dealership called Scott Robinson Honda. It's a blue 5 door 2016 Honda fit. I know this because despite emailing them several times to tell them they've entered the wrong email address they keep emailing me about services and the like.

No need to be shy and pretend to be an entomophobic British bloke.

Tbf it's pretend GIANT insects I don't like. It's not so much a fear as give me the boak. Is the boak due to fear? Dunno.
Anyone like some of Therese's birthday cake? It's in the shape of a giant moth eating a 2016 Honda.
Had a little gaming window this afternoon. More steep. Opening up more and a few gold's - though not trophies - just medals in the game. As the Winter Olympics pump increases in the next wee while I can see me getting the dlc.

I ended up going for the newspaper option so that I didn't have to haul a book through from Fife and back, and I think it's done enough to make my solo drinking look deliberate. Good job, nerd hive-mind!

I see FRANK is still going strong over on the Guardian Dark Souls article. FluteJoy made the mistake of criticising the modding of his earlier comment re the (Japanese only) availability of the remastered Trilogy.
It, and its replies (including mine) have all been expunged. Good old FRANK
Or, in other words, you've been FRANKed.

It was inexplicable. Surely he was adding worthwhile info to the readers of the article? RIP FluteJoy.

Or, in other words, you've been FRANKed. Yes, I had seen that and thought that it wouldn't end well, but I'm still in premod and don't feel I can show my face there. Maybe you should have given FluteJoy directions to this forum. I only saw the Nintendo Direct on Thursday evening, and am really pleased that From Software got sick of the constant whining about Dark Souls for the Switch. I'm just worried that I will have wayyyy more games than I can play through. At least I don't need Hyrule Warriors and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze again. I've got HW for the Wii U and the 3DS, and particularly the Wii U version I put a lot of hours in without getting through even a fraction of the content, and I can warmly recommend it. DK TF is in my pile of shame. Another episode of Stranger Things 2 tonight. Yesterday we had the one that ends with Dart and the cat (a development that one could see coming from miles away, but still). Fortunately the local pussycat wasn't paying attention. For some reason I've got similar misgivings to Rolling's about watching Black Mirror, but I really miss Charlie Brooker. Dinner: Haddock fillets, potatoes, and samphire (I got really fond of the stuff)

I always liked Buzz Aldrin on the Simpsons "2nd comes right after first.."
Are you using a DS4 or have you got a wheel etc?
Waiting on Mrs Crank to decide our evenings viewing. Have given several options. Looking like spiral at 9. PS4 back on for 20m then.
Edit: well done Melvazord. I obviously wrote that before your victory.

Wish I could justify buying one but they're pretty expensive. Thanks...? Melvazord has got a fucking massive telly. I think that's an optical illusion, its a fairly standard telly
