MoreGin? Succumbed to so TV chef's blipvert, and tried adding chilli jam to my normally infallible cheese straw recipe. Result? disaster! Jam up to my elbows... grated cheese stuck everywhere... jam burnt before pastry properly cooked... bleugh. Have had to bring them to work just to get rid of them. Enough with messing with the classics, it's back to the bacon and parmesan for me. Toot Toot SO TV? Sounds excellent. Not sue I would follow an of their recipes though. When I grow up I want to run a TV channel. Channel 50TV. It would have all midlands football on it and would also feature Shenguin's plumbing and cookery programmes. |

They should make it a midnight showing and come round beforehand confiscating all your snacks. Even as a kid the logic of this rule was baffling. Don't feed them after midnight...it's always after midnight until it's midnight again. Surely it should include a second clause - after midnight and before sunrise, but then how would that work in different hemispheres throughout the seasons? |

I have finished that Star Wars game, didn’t really like it. The combat wasn’t as good as it needed to be.
I have just started The Outer Worlds, about an hour in. So far it’s a clone of Fallout. I hope it gets better quickly.
PS the best Christmas film is Batman Returns

Afternoon kids! Surprisingly chirpy for a grey windy wet Birmingham morning (me, not Birmingham although one local japester has painted red noses on Banksy's reindeer mural already - four *s).
Ganes: Fucking did it - took down the main antagonist in Sekiro using a secret shinobi technique known as shitting my pants and clutching the victory in phase three. Getting to phase three was much less painful using a different secret shinobi technique. The fight was so poor in terms of my execution of the necessary moves I didn't even upload it to YouTube despite my being kind of a big deal.
TV: Still haven't caught up with HDM yet - watched the opening few minutes where they lead the girl off to the thingyplace to have her thingy removed (spoilers avoided) and given my vulnerable emotional state Sunday evening had to stop there. Will watch when feeling a bit more upbeat about life so probably tonight.
OTTM: CT scan on Thursday for my 'hernia'

I watched HDM. I quite liked it, but it did feel a bit rushed. One episode to cover what's probably the most significant part of the book.

My partner and I only have just over one-hour of uninterrupted-time together in our day. She heads off to bed at 9pm, then I'm usually up for another couple of hours. So diplomatically, it works out easier to allow her control of the TV in that time. I'll just add though that we do usually watch something that we both want to see. |

Currently reading up on the Saturnalia. There's mention of dice and dicing tables which immediately made me think of here. Turns out Dungeons and Dragons has several Latin translations.
Games.
Trying to finish Empire Total War but the lag/frame issues during battles is now getting silly. Perhaps back to Dragon Quest XI....
