I do not have the time sadly to really play either. I think some of the free games are IOS only as well. But yeah, definitely worth keeping an eye on. |

I've just had the same Labour canvasser (actually a councillor) knock at the door. Fucks sake, that's the 2nd time in 2 weeks. I told her I was undecided (last time I said I was voting Labour). She said, 'I'll put you down as undecided, but I warn you, you will get a phonecall later...'.
Really?
(No sign of the other parties having made it safely to my front door.)

I had a letter waiting for me yesterday with my name and address on it and "Important NHS documents" written in NHS like blue wording on the front. All worried I opened it and it was just a Labour flyer about the Tories. I thought it was a dick move.

Afternoon.
Spent yesterday afternoon playing Pokemon in a hospital corridor whilst waiting for elderly person to have a checkup. Fortunately not too many toddlers with suspected pneumonia to step over.
Later I commented on a YouTube video that discusses the jury verdict in the defamation case against Elon Musk in response to someone claiming that calling someone a "pedo guy" is totally justified if someone tells you to stick your miniature submarine where it hurts. I was then told to stick my comment where it hurts. I should have replied that I wished I made that comment smaller.
Got a Brexit Party leaflet today, addressed to me. It's a good job I can't vote.
Also got a text message that I first thought was a scam but appears to be a genuine message to the previous owner of my phone number:
Unfortunately there's no way to find out what the purchase was. Booze, fags, porn? Fireworks or power tools? I'd like to know now.
TV: HIGNFY, extended edition yesterday, HDM the evening before. I wouldn't say the episode was rushed, I think it worked fine as one episode, but even this densely packed episode was interrupted when they completely pointlessly switched over to Will's story. I think it's fine to not throw the audience into the deep end in the way The Subtle Knife does and instead introduce Will gradually to the story, but this felt completely unnecessary. And again a massively missed opportunity showing children actually interacting with their daemon; Lyra is still the only one who does this.

As I left for the hospital I noticed a wine parcel that the delivery person had hidden so well that I hadn't seen it before. I tried to pick it up and take it inside, only for the bottom to fall out immediately. Had to carefully take out and repackage the content. It had obviously been sitting there for quite a while. At least the wine was well chilled.
