Morning.
Back at work after my spell off, meaning today is my Monday. End times indeed.
Ganes! Still balls deep in Xenoblade 2. ~96 hours deep. At least 15 hours of that is from me leaving it on for Merc missions to finish, but that still leaves a lot of played time. If you couldn't tell, I'm really enjoying it. Even the Welsh woman has grown on me. Currently on chapter 7 for anyone who's played.
OTTM! Brexit party bus went by the other day blaring out 'Don't waste your vote, vote for the Brexit party'. Bit paradoxical, but what else would you expect from that load of twats.
OOTTM! Gremlins at the cinema tonight, in 4DX. Best Christmas film? Gotta be up there. Also, Jojo Rabbit advance screening next week, which I'm very much looking forward to.

They should make it a midnight showing and come round beforehand confiscating all your snacks.

Morning. TV. Mr Robot & Ray Donovan on the commute. Mr Robot heading towards a grand finale. Please don't fuck it up.
Games. No.
Bit of pen drive management/collation. No spreadsheets were used.
I'm frightened for Friday. I'm worried people are too fucking blind to see the road ahead.

This morning I'd like to open with a reading from the Metal Gear Survive wiki:
Our lord and saviour, the lord of dust, amen.
Perhaps a metaphor for...Morjing all!
I've gone off piste and quaffed a Rod Hull before a motivational seminar I'm giving to the board this morning, I don't usually as it can make me a little 'too lively' but since its nearly end of year I decided to let it all swing in the wind. Bottoms up!

Morning all.
TVblog - two-nights-straight of that bloody Chateau programme. Apparently I pulled a face. I did eventually watch some sort of Nazi war machine thing on More4, all about U-boats. The presenter wasn't great. 4* I then watched the second episode from the fourth series of Rick & Morty. The All4 app went squiffy mid-way through, and started playing the third episode. Effin' app.
Gamesblog - nah.

Hello, I listened to Dark Souls OST on the drive to work this morning. It's put me in the perfect frame of mind for the immense frustration and crushing disappointment that a day at work will surely bring.
No games.

I spent all of yesterday evening either wrapping presents or trying to fix the dishwasher. The presents are wrapped but the dishwasher's pipe to the drains seems blocked so the plan is to shove drain cleaner down there,
Telly - a bit more Z Nation and also South Park on the train (Hummels & Heroin).

Telly - a bit more Z Nation and also South Park on the train (Hummels & Heroin). Does Z Nation get good, or did you enjoy it from the start? I tried it but dropped it after 3 episodes as I found it dire. Still looking for a decent new series to get into on nights. Oh, kind of on topic, went to see Knives Out last week. If you have the opportunity I'd highly recommend seeing it, very entertaining.

I had a nightmare last night that Tanzania sent an armada of battle ships to the UK to attack our mainland and we held off intercepting them as Donald Trump insisted the USA would take care of it, but the ships got closer and closer. The world held its breath like a shit Cuban missile crisis and still Trump failed to act, he just sent loads of tweets stating he was going to destroy the ships. Then I woke up a little bit shook up.
I have since studied the Tanzanian navy to put my mind at ease, and thankfully I can see we do not have anything to worry about here.

Mrs Fark watched Knives Out without me, she said it was good.

Good good. I noticed someone else was watching it too (Amipal, perhaps?) so thought maybe I was a little hasty. Might just give the yank Shameless another try.

A dishwasher drain hose shouldn't need a chemical drain cleaner. Why do you hate Greta so much? Plus if it doesn't work, then you'll have a really nasty chemical stuck in wherever you have put it. 1) Check the blockage isn't actually a blocked filter in the dishwasher. 2) The outlet is probably a flexible grey hose which should detach with *relative* ease to allow inspection and unblocking. 3) Maybe not, but the Tanzanian Navy is expanding, and has the support of the Chinese, and given that all is not exactly rosy with NATO at the moment, we should perhaps prepare for the worst. 4) If the outlet hose feeds into the trap beneath a sink, and the sink is draining ok, then the problem is probably not that far along the system, but it might still be worth unscrewing the trap and having a look (assuming it's a modern plastic trap). Make sure the rubber seal goes back on right when you reattach it. 5) If the dishwasher still isn't draining and the outlet all appears clear, the problem might be the pump rather than the outlet.
Morning everyone.

Games
I used a parrying pistol on Lady Maria. Made short work of her. She didn't even enter the third form. I also visited the Orphan of Kos who no longer needs to worry about parental issues and did in Sharky & George.
I decided to visit Gehrman. Twice I got him down to less than 25% health. I found out that you can parry him using the augur of Ebreitas. It is pretty impressive, but the timing is tricky.

Trying to fix a dishwasher seems a bit extreme. Can't you just buy a new one, like a normal person?

My main problem with this is that Tanzania are a long way from having a "blue water" navy, if ever. Very few countries have that capability in fact. Your dreams need a subscription to Jane's Defence Weekly.

Our dishwasher 'broke' a few years ago. Water wasn't draining out. It turned out preferred mammal had opened it while it was on, then hadn't turned it back on again. It was all absolutely fine and caused no arguments whatsoever.

MoreGin?
Succumbed to so TV chef's blipvert, and tried adding chilli jam to my normally infallible cheese straw recipe. Result? disaster! Jam up to my elbows... grated cheese stuck everywhere... jam burnt before pastry properly cooked... bleugh. Have had to bring them to work just to get rid of them. Enough with messing with the classics, it's back to the bacon and parmesan for me. Toot Toot
