As a home owning, mortgage free, retired 'boxer with a private pension I expect to be sheltered from much of the potential damage capable of being inflicted by a pro-Brexit, EU hating, right wing Boris led Tory government, but I despair for those more vulnerable, less sheltered than me. Apart from the twats who voted Tory, that is. They deserve everything coming their way. I'm in a similar position, though with a a government pension*, and don't really expect my life to change that much, I have no children, none of my friends have children so I'm cushtie. I do have a semblance of decency and vaguely care for my fellow humans but don't really see how I can help them if they vote this way, or worse don't bother voting at all. *which could, (probably will), be changed but would be set at a future cut-off point which wouldn't affect me. |

I've finished the Hobgoblin, and gave serious consideration to cracking the bottle of Woods 100.
As this seems to be the time for insane choices though, I've brewed a pot of strong coffee. The bitter taste seems appropriate.
