Hello! TV. Ray Donovan on the commute. Fillums. Detective Pikachu on the commute. Games. No
It's my last day before the Mon before Xmas. Which is in fact my last day.
A missive went round yesterday to clear our desks before Xmas. Mine is a total shitehole and so I'll be spending today trying to sort that to acceptable levels. Possibly. First I'll be working out my Flexi.
All the coffee please!

I've just read last night's medical advice. The consensus seems to be book a GP appt today, but don't actually do that. Drink plenty of delicious booze instead.
I've decided to leave it over the weekend to see how it festers. If it begins growing limbs and developing facial features, then starts jabbering on about 'Mars' - I'll kill it.

Kill it, or set it up with a Chatterbox account of its own?

Morning all!
#Pray4Tiddles
Gamesblog - Yes! Amiga games. Primarily "Escape From the Planet of Robot Monsters", which is still manic fun. I also gave "Epic" a go which seemed to be trying for grandiose space-opera, but just ended up as a 3D shoot-em'up without much direction.
TVblog - MST3K, followed by the TNG episode "Darmok" - one of my all-time favourites.
OTTM - Two more days left of work this year. Get. It. Done.

It's my work's Christmas night out tonight, which would suggest today is our last day. This, however, is not the case and we're to report for our final day of work tomorrow at 10 am.
I doubt having the extra two hours in bed to sleep off the booze will stop this being a subdued affair.

Go to the Doctor today, as Shenguin stated there could delays at this time of year for any follow-up appointments.

And dibs on Tiddles' stuff. I'm not dead yet, despite my body's best attempts to kill me recently. amipal's having the LED watches (including one that actually WORKS!). The rest can go to the family (fuck it, I'm going to flog it all and go on a massive bender with my new maltese friend),

6/18, with a fair slice of luck The only songs mentioned that are in my collection are Killing in the Name and Mad World. I'm slightly embarrassed to own a copy of Mad World.

Tears For Fears are ace.
I wouldn't own any Christmas cover versions of their songs though.
I loved it when Lloyds used a cover of Mad World to advertise loans. Banking with us will make you seriously depressed.
It's like those people using Personal Jesus for a car ad. Are they aiming to sell a car to Harvey Weinstein? Creepy sex songs also touching on the more sinister aspects of tele-evangelism make for the best adverts

Shenguin had better not be stepping to Tears For Fears. They are my all time favourite 80s band except for Talk Talk. If you mean the Gary Jules version, fair enough.
