260 mile round trip to an away match, to see a fairly dire 0-0 draw. Highlight of the trip was going to an Indian supermarket in Sparkhill. All the spices and pulses.
Mammal who tolerates me took the kids out for curry, and there was a takeaway vegetable vindaloo waiting for me when I got home.

Is the general consensus that Picard isn't shit? That's what I want the consensus to be. I think I maybe even liked it. But I prefer to be deeply disappointed by things, so it's really let me down in that regard. I guess it might still turn out to be shit. Thanks Destry, it's just a 260 mile round trip after work on a week night for the home replay, so at least that's reasonably convenient. I feel bad about not going up Tuesday to the Riverside, but it's 650 miles. |

On the downside I was still too angry to sleep when I got home.

Watched some Titans too, series is starting to drag a bit. The second series or first? I thought the first was pretty good, apart from the appalling finale. Second series starts slow but picks up towards the middle and ends up pretty good. Also, Krypto is the best boy and steals every scene he's in. Morning all. A little less nihilism from me today, as I'm still full of haggis and apple crumble. Games! Bit more WoW and a bit of Steamworld Quest on the Switch. The former is a second job and a soul consuming grind that I can stop playing any time I want. Honest. The latter is a fun little card-combat based RPG from the Steamworld team. So far, so good. Four stars. |

Unlocked my first costume change in TMS#FE, currently learning how to sing and dance which apparently will help in the fight against the monsters, saw the scene described by Daky where you meet a new character the camera pans up, stops at her* chest and then moves onto the face. 4*
*She's head of the organisation fighting the good fight but can't afford a shirt that actually fits her.

One of the female characters special move was to grab your head and thrust it into her crotch smothering you whilst making sexy noises. Another guy broke your arm (leg? Hmm) off and battered you to death with it - that move was called backwoods beating. Had a copy via a friend of a friend who worked for a Glasgow games dev.
