Morning all.
I went up to London for the Canary Wharf Winter Lights festival last night. It was absolutely rammed there. A Tokyo metro wouldn't have anything on the Jubilee Line carriage I was in.
Gamesblog - none
TVblog - no Picard yet. Hopefully this evening.
OTTM - ate a MASSIVE STEAK at Gaucho. It. Was. Boodiful.
The bill? Not so much.

Home made crispy chilli beef with egg fried rice for dinner last night to celebrate Chinese New Year slightly early. No exposure to the Wu-Tang Clan necessary, even if they are famous for their beefs. 4 stars. Games: I now have completed the Gym Challenge and can nab any Pokemon I want. Burns Night: no good haggis offer but I still have an enormous haggis (feeds roughly 10 people) in the freezer that the Scottish relatives foisted on us. It'll probably have to wait until the grandchildren are grown up, assuming they grow up to like haggis. Apropos, Crank, unfortunately the Tam o' Shanter in Animal Crossing New Leaf was a timed exclusive gift for Europe from the Scottish staff. They should give them out annually at Burns Night. |

Well I'm downloading "Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE Encore", which has to be one of the clunkiest titles ever, so much for catching up on the backlog. I'm still not prepared to go there yet. I love the clunky title, though, it's similar to the incongruous "Bravely Default". Who comes up with these titles and how closely are they related to the CEO to get them approved? |

Fretting already. 4* These are the issues that keep you awake at night. Yes, the world is in a worrying state but there's not much any of us can do immediately that would change things. Choosing your character's outfit, on the other hand... Last night I celebrated my Pokemon gym success by going for a completely new look, including (gasp!) ditching the glasses. |
