Nicholas Parsons was the lynchpin of Just A Minute for over 52 years, still fun to listen to. In spite of the effects of increasing age he got much better at dealing with the barbs that came his way; not easy with participants like Clement Freud, Peter Jones, Derek Nimmo*, Kenneth Williams, Paul Merton and Graham Norton ... I was hoping he'd make 100 whilst still in the chair.
Not so much Sale of the Century, which I loathed!
*Nimmo was a brilliant farceur, starring in two clerical comedy series ...

I'm having austerity lunches at the moment: A 'Graze' protein snackpack, a barbof chocalate, a supermarket 'Easy peeler'.
The easy peeler today was big, but the the rind was thicker than expected (about 7.5mm) The fruit was sour, and full of pips. So many pips ... I had to walk along the street, holding them in my mouth before I could find a bin.

The wifey that runs the astronomy group I've given a talk at the last two years has just come into the library for a class. She tried to sign me up for another one this year.
It's easier to say no by email.
Asked her to send an email with the dates as I didn't have access to my calendar.
