Dusting of snow here and cold out.

Rain. No snow. Cold wind. Late for Train therefore late for work as my child was being a wee arsehole.
Flexi gubbed again.
Morning!
Games: Apex Legends. Decided to get on board with that keyboard/mouse malarkey.
It's probably 10 yrs since I properly played games with k/m. Mouse fine. Keyboard taking a wee bit of getting used to. Got a kill but was generally poor.
More Mandalorian for the train.

btw Do not try to find Mr Black's photo - definitely NSFW. I was shocked...
Breakfast at 6 a.m. Tablets, toast and Marmite and a yoghurt and the rest of the 17 tablets I have to take to raise this, lower that, suppress that and relieve pain sufficiently to be my normal sunny self survive. They will be joined by 15ml of morphine at points in the next 2 hrs, before Nursey comes to fuck up the rest of my day... He will deploy a kind of paper sandpaper to scrub the exposed wounds, apply 2 kinds of unguents, 6 types of dressing, 3 metres of tubular dressing, and copious amounts of tape to hold it together.
Oddly I appear to have cornered the market in black nurses, who variously come from Sri Lanka, Ghana, Zimbabwe and Nigeria ... frankly they are the best of the guys to treat me and cheer up... but I have a suspicion that some of their other customers are racist enough to make their prejudices plain and ask for a 'proper' nurse. Sylvia in particular is very very hard to coax a smile out of; she's tiny, fugly but very competent - I managed to get a smile from her on Sunday.
Malcolm is far and away the best of them. We take the piss out of each other mercilessly while the gory business of the visit continues. I must ask him whether he's heard of Mr. Dick Black... hmmm - doing so while he's torturing me might not be too clever.
Gabes: AoW3; NP2 a good shot at winning this... bought the Last Federation collection for £4+ from GoG.
Books: Georgette Heyer, a Civil Contract. Regency romantic comedy - writes beautifully - she was immensely popular with the ladies who visited my branch and mobile libraries ...

btw Do not try to find Mr Black's photo - definitely NSFW. I was shocked... A Taste Of Dick Black and His Scottish Dance Band £7.57 - in stock
I'm no expert, but that seems reasonably priced. 'These tracks from old recordings show the energetic playing and great style of Dick Black'
Ahm oot.

Morning all.
I think if I get any Brexit 50p coins, I'll donate them to a Remain/Rejoin group.
Gamesblog - DQB2, and I have created a mighty pit of death for the incoming hordes of monsters. Fire, spikes, and ballistas aplenty.
TVblog - an episode each of Midnight Diner and Its Always Sunny.
OTTM - I'm waiting for the builder (an actual builder) to arrive to make a start on getting a brick wall up for the conservatory renovation.

I think he's blurring the lines between the virtual and the real. It should read something like this:-

If I were able, I'd go to Boston or some other Brexit voting town in Lincolnshire and superglue my Brexit 'bonus' to the pavement. I hope it's one of these ... The fact that Lincolnshire has very few immigrants apart from the seasonal mainly NE European ones who do the harvesting because the locals don't want to do the job... muppets

amipal looking to add additional grandeur to his orangery. I require additional room for the aviary. Of course, I have discussed my plans with the groundskeeper to ensure that the orchids will be okay.

One's dovecote is external to the main property. Correct, we had one in the village next door (Aubourn) that was ancient and in the middle of a field built by monks in Roman times.

Or... do they? I do have trouble keeping track of exactly where everything is on my vast tracts of land. I believe it is somewhere west of the orchard. But it has been sometime since I've ambled over that way.
