When our student digs were robbed my Gamecube remained safe in my bedroom as the wires were tangled up so much at the back they could not get the aerial or power cord so left it be. Unfortunately the nice neat stack of games left on the desk were never seen again (including Ikaruga). That's pretty funny, imagine you came back and he (or she #imwithher) was on the floor untangling the wires. Ikaruga is worth a fair whack now, is it not? Some guy in Dundee still has my copy of Skies of Arcadia Legends for the Gamecube. It's worth about £70 now, but I'd be tempted to keep it as it's a personal favourite. Yeah it's worth a few bob. Luckily my copy of Skies Of Arcadia Legends was elsewhere in the room and I still have it to this day. I'll probably hang on to it as well, not that I rated the game at all but I feel all hardcore having it.

I've got a pretty good collection of wires. My Cat5 and cat5E collection is museum quality. I've also got a very strong selection of 1.5m HDMI cables. My museum also has a collection of various USB cables and I've managed to whittle down the spare routers to just two.

Well, I've got fajitas for tea and a bottle of Chianti lined up tonight. Might go back to finish Broke Butt and then squeeze a in a bit of FFXIV. Tomorrow evening involves drinks with chums which, due to it being the last weekend in January before payday, will be taking place in Wetherspoons.
Your weekend just got served.

I'm getting a curry delivered for dinner. Chicken Tikka Madras for me, Chicken Tikka Masala for her. With lots of poppadoms, a bhaji and the like.
And beer as well.

Your weekend just got served. What does that mean? It was from a South Park episode where this gang of kids would break dance in front of them and tell them they "just got served". I can't find a youtube clip of them actually saying it, sadly. Basically, it sort of meant " you can't beat that" despite it not being difficult.

To cheer myself up, I’m going on a ghost walk around Plymouth tonight. Hoping for a “Mary loves Dick” moment

Tonight I am going to the pub, tomorrow I am repairing a washing machine and then tomorrow night I am going to see Reservoir Mogs, which was called reservoir cats before they got cease and desisted.
Their “Rocky: A Horror Show” was one of the best things I have ever seen, and I’ve seen David Hasslehoff singing Lady Gaga whilst dressed as a pirate.

Was due to go out for dinner tonight but the shite weather has put paid to that. Hopefully it clears up for tomorrow's piss up.
Never realised the right GameCube games were going for that sort of cash, I'll have to look out my collection and see what it's worth. Though I still regret punting my mint panzer dragoon saga about 15 years ago for grog money. Especially as the resulting night out was push.

Dinner: lamb shank, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds. Good.
Booze: sufficient.
Cat: purring.
Gaming: yes. Let's see whether I'm actually getting anything done over the weekend or whether it's more aimless ambling.

There was a platformer on the Amiga released in the later years, called Kid Chaos. A1200 only, but very fast and good to look at.
Ruff'n'Tumble was also a good 'un.

Dinner: fish cakes! A "yellow tea" as it were.
Booze: I've an Argentinian Malbec from the Coop. Ordinarily I wouldn't by Argentine wine, you know, '82 and all that. But I do like a Malbec.
Cats: on the radiator, cooking themselves.
Games: some more R&C later.

Evening!
Chicken breast, broccoli and carrots for me.
Australian shiraz, not too bad.
I expect I'll play some darksiders 2 again later.
New TV coming tomorrow, looking forward to seeing what games look like on a big screen.
