Just watched another episode of ST Discovery S2E10; btw directed by Jonathan Frakes. I really don't understand why some of you don't like it*... but I urge you to keep trying - the plotting is bloody brilliant. Like Babylon 5, there are different length arcs within what's starting to become apparent as the most recomplicated plot I've seen since B5. 5* *I understand a lot of Americans won't like it, because you need to remember what went before and thinking beyond one or two episodes is really difficult for them. Putting Disco alongside B5 is tantamount to heresy, sir.

I've been to better games as well. Hey, a goal! Stop complaining. A win. This is becoming a habit. It was quite cold until we scored. OTTM: Nothing else matters.

Putting Disco alongside B5 is tantamount to heresy, sir. Then you haven't watched much of ST Discovery. B5 took quite a few episodes before it got into its stride... I've watched the series ca. 8 times through. And ST Discovery is as good so far. But I guess I have to make allowances for your current status... btw: I studied the recomplicated plot and incorporated my studies into my dissertation The History of Tomorrow, which was considered worthy of a 98% score, first class honours, so it's one of the few things I can prate about like a nerd.* *Doing the research for, writing 120k words in 6 months nearly broke my mind, it certainly broke my first marriage; I was offered a masters course, but I took up maximizing my gaming and drinking time. I rejoined the human race. Some achievements carry too high a price.
