Friend of mine became a dad for the third time a couple of days ago. He let people know by posting a video of the afterbirth on our WhatsApp chat. I was a few hours deep in the bout of a sick bug at this point, and it really didn't help.
On reflection I guess I could have just not watched it.

Chumbles I thought the spelling was wrong, thank you. Good of you to say so. Whilst Destry was off getting soused watching football I felt duty bound to wear the pedant shoes... My interest in football has been buried under the corpses of hope dashed. The Amazon guy managed to walk past my open front door, walk up to next door's bin and... look sheepish as I shouted. "What the Hell do you think you're doing..." Satisfying, but my hands have gone white and I am freezing |

My wife has just found a stash of my old mags from the 70's, 2000AD, Star Lord and some annuals as well (Dr.Who, Kojak) etc.
There's got to be 40 mags and 6 annuals. I think I'll sell them and not chuck them as she demands.
My question is.. should I just take them as a job lot to a specialist nerd shop or attempt to e-bay them?

I would say that they're not worth as much as you think/hope. Check e-bay for equivalent stuff and see if it is worth the "opportunity cost". Any Halo Jones? |

Nope, I've also found the Kenny Everett Video Show Annual from 1980 and the Star Wars Question and Answer Book about Space (79). Dr Who is 1978. Kojak 1977.
Looks like I'm in for a fun evening..

Also, they are not playing this weekend (home to Forest on Monday) but still managed to slip into the relegation zone courtesy of Wigan beating the league leaders away from home. |

The annuals aren't worth much, as Felice quite rightly pointed out. The mags* seem to be worth quite a bit more.
