Congratulations Babyfark.
And you only need to buy presents/hold a party every 4 years? Result.

Of course you are. I don't think women appreciate what men have to go through.

Congratulations, Baby, on the new baby! Hope she's not been distracting you too much from watching Mitchell and Webb.

She weighs 7 lb and mother and child are doing well. I’m knackered. I think Greta is a bit heavier than that, you daft racist.

Brings back memories. The night we brought my eldest home, we plonked her on the floor (in a crib) in the middle of the front room and just stared at her all night. In a panic. Is she moving, breathing etc.
My girls are 10 and 11 now. Good* times ahead.
Good work BabyF. You did the hard yards.

Finished Episode 2 of Britannia ... I paid for the series on Prime and I 'm getting my money's worth. Some brilliant performances especially from David Morrissey (if only he could have permanently become the Doctor). I hope we get to meet Vespasian... courtesy of Marcus Didius Falco, I've read a helluva lot about this period and so far (excepting some plot mechanisms) it's 4+*

It's turning out to be a rather splendid weekend. A new BabyF in town (congrats) and a stash of reading material for me in the 'small room'. This calls for a drink.

Congratulations Fark on child number two. That a boy then a girl? A gentleman's family I believe that's called. Calm down Reece-Mogg.
TV. Started succession S2.
Games. The Division 2. Second part of Kenley College. As suspected my role as clan commander was fully automated and wasn't meant to happen. I'm holding the fort till the powers that be tell me who to pass the shoulderboards to. Thank fuck.
Horrible wet, windy day.

Glorious sunshine, hardly a cloud in the sky, gentle breeze, and I have the curtains drawn and a MASSIVE gaming window ahead of me.

Congratulations Baby.
Went out for a friends birthday last night, Hawksmoor in Piccadilly and had an amazing steak, a bottle of wine and a sticky toffee pudding.
Got home shortly after midnight, which is very late for an old fart, and I’ve woken with the worst hangover I’ve had in years.

Morning!
In DQB2 I have unlocked the last recipe (for now) through fanciness! My fanciness is through the roof that I still need to build. However, it's gone all Pete Tong with the front of the castle. Mind you, nothing that can't be fixed.
Busy family day today and tomorrow, so probably won't be around much. Behave yourselves.

'Whizzer & Chips' - what's that doing in my mighty horde of SF comics? Aha, it came with a free Kellogg's 'Two Shakes' raspberry milkshake mix. All for 9p. So, not free then.
Right, back to work.

It's amateur hour, when for my Sunday treatment the local skeleton staff pick a random nurse out of a hedgerow in Bucks to try and fuck up my legs. The more experienced the more argument. Very few patients have the mixed aetiology and complications that I have. So they spend their time arguing why they aregoing to vary the treatment ... I hope I'm wrong - arguing with someone while you're under morphine and in intense pain isn't fun. Dunno when I am back with you

Ottm: watched The Stranger on Netflix. Not nearly as bad as I was expecting, anf possibly even quite good. The issue is that thrillers with ridiculous plots and implausible characters set in Manchester just scream 'ITV2', while exactly the same thing set in Copenhagen and dubbed from Danish would probably get the full G episode recap treatment and its own chin-scratching podcast.
