Is it time to start stockpiling tinned goods and medicine?

Haloumi is one of the best cheeses for a long use by date, often up to a year away.

Shenguin. I shall be dropping off Rebecca Long-Bailey, tonight, at the usual location.

I have today learnt that someone on my office is spending the week in Venice. I’m interpreting this as a very strong play to get two further weeks off on his return.
Otherwise if anyone’s got me in the ‘box batflu sweepy, you might be in luck.

A word of advice, if you're washing your hands in a pub 'washroom', don't sing 'Happy Birthday' out loud.

I know Chumbles wasn't totally taken with S4, I liked it, but this is charming:

Felice Landry I didn't dislike S4, but it felt like the plotline was an each way bet on whether it was getting S5 or not ... but my views by no means are that important. I do rather like the Honest series ... I won't get to see it; no Netflix...

I like the idea of the 24 second chorus to 'Stayin' Alive'. It seems more defiant and life-affirming somehow.

Is it time to start stockpiling tinned goods and medicine? Wait, you haven't been? I thought the shambles of Brexit may have spurred you on.

Thanks, Felice Landry, I knew S5 was happening - I just have to wait the release on DVD... but I'm bound to miss stuff ... after all I like to play games. As for Wonder Woman I loved it... taking out the majority of the clutter of the DC Universe overlong, overcomplicated plotlines enabled the film to stand on its own. Both Marvel and DC have painted themselves into a corner; to me these series have prioritized FX and 'shock and awe' over emotional relevance. You stop watching and once the 'shock and awe' is over, I get left wondering why I watched them.

Bloody Hell; I've got stuff that wakes me every 1-2 hrs. The rest of you, go to sleep; lack of sleep is dangerous ... Anyway, useless scold over... Whilst I was taking my midnight tablets I watched the video below. I've been cycling through my back brain trying to get my top ten authors - I'll be honest it's damned difficult. There are so many and since 2006 when I contracted Ophthalmic Zoster (a right fucker that tried to eat my 5th cranial nerve = right optic nerve), my book every 2 days became 1 a month, then none (all audiobooks now). So I gave my collection away*... So I am going to have to rack my memory for my top 10 authors without reference to physical copies. Top 10 books = too much... *I gave my 4k book collection to my best mate with the unlikely condition that he predeceased me, I would get our combined collections. He died in '12 just as my current woes set in. His wife, also a very close friend, was so upset she forgot and gave the lot to a charity shop...Really distressing as that collection included a complete run of Galaxy, a near complete run of New Worlds - both of which we'd spent 40 years collecting - he always had a separate library so they got deposited with him. I would've given the collection to the Science Fiction Foundation... There were 2 people in the final interviews for Director in 1974: me and Malcolm Edwards It was my dream job... but the right guy got the job.
